Looking at an Amazon price tracker, this is the second lowest price it's ever been. (Lowest being $1114.71 on Oct 19 before going back up to $1699)

I've had it for a few years and it's a fantastic grill if you don't mind manual temp control. If I had a do-over I'd opt for Big Joe, but this size is plenty for most!

I love my KJ 3...use it at least once a week. If you are in the fence, buy it...you won't regret it. Very easy and virtually no maintenance.

Product information says this weight 286 pounds. Does this grill really weight that much?

It's the lowest I've ever seen it for the KJ Classic III.

Big Joe is great if you need the space. I'm upgrading from a Joe Jr which I used A LOT. The smaller grills (Joe Jr and even the Classic) have an advantage I feel of a quicker lighting of the charcoal and heating up of the grill, so great for weekday quick grills etc.

I upgraded to the BJ II back in late 2019 from Akorn and recently got the Jr. from the $194 deal. The Akorn needs to be replaced so I will take a look at the Classic I or II when the next deal comes around. Love the Jr. for the ease of use and small cook.
