When you're painting.
Installing curtains or other things that might involve moving back and forth a few steps.
Working in the engine bay of a truck.
Extra seating space.
Space to spread out tools if you're doing some mechanic stuff.
Washing roof of 4 door truck (since a step ladder would do fine for the single cab roof)

I'm sure there's tons of other uses
remember when these used to be like $25

I got the 2 pack of these in Jan for $89.99. Recommended, have used them a ton. Lightweight, easy to set up/break down and super solid.

These are great, use them all the time. Light and don't take up much room when stored.
For those asking - great for painting, cleaning, detailing tops of trucks and suvs, overhead electrical/plumbing/hvac, makeshift floors in attics, saw horses, work tables, hanging shelves/tvs/etc. One of those things where after you get one you'll wonder why you didn't sooner.

Anyone who has this have trouble with folding back the legs with the button? I tried at least 3 in store the other day and it seemed the buttons to fold the legs back were jammed/stuck once they were unfolded and in the standing position. Good price now and want to buy one but hesitant on this issue.

Bought one November 3, 2021, $34.88 shipped to home.

Super! Very solid. Center handle makes moving when open very easy - less likely to bang into walls, etc.

andyschiu, if you have trouble closing, flex legs forward/backward - whichever way eases release and prevents it from hanging up slightly. I do note it has gotten stiffer over time to close. I ought to oil it :-)

You need to move the legs a little bit to take the pressure off the button/lock. It's easy once you figure it out

pull leg more open and push in button.i like to use this instead of ladder wherever i can because it allows me to work on lager area/gives me more reach.also feel more stable standing with my legs shoulder width instead of crammed together on ladder

Thanks for the tips on trying to fold in the legs; I could've sworn I tried moving the legs a little bit before when pushing the button. I'm going to stop by HD later tonight and pick one up.
