I received iPhone 13 today from walmart..
After inserting the SIM card and activating it, I chatted with Verizon.
The first agent refused the payoff and said it would be possible in 14 days.
The second agent sent me the URL right away and I paid $299.
Then I cancel line. I need 60days for unlock.

I tried to do it with an iPhone 14 in walmart.com when I saw this deal. It asked me to login to my Verizon (I'm with vzn), and asked for permission to pull credit. I declined. I think anything with a payment plan will need a credit check.

Though this is 36 months contract , but once you activate the line, you can pay off it via chat rep or in cash in verizon store . Once phone is paid , you can cancel the line with in 3 days to avoid activation / upgrade fees. Wait for 60 days to unlock the device.

THIS IS NOT MONTHLY CREDITS. AMOUNT FINANCED will be $299 or $99 , depends which phone you select.

Im another one that f'cked up not writing down the account number during checkout. My phone is still preparing. I did however notice the phone number in the text contact box, assuming that is the number it still wont let me create an account with it.
You can't really start anything until it's in "on the way" status. You then get an email where you can start the account process. Use your email as the user ID rather than the phone number and then link to the phone number and use email for the authentication. Btw, you won't have the account number until you get the activation notification in the "documents and receipts". It isn't any of the identifiers on the installment loan agreement or other disclosures when you bought the phone.

I called the vzw number and gave them my name, address, SSN and DOB. They looked it up and gave me. This can only be done after item ships.
I tried 3 agents they said the new phone no is sensitive info so they couldn't provide to me………..not sure what else I can do to get the info before the phone arrive….🙃

does that mean before it's "on the way", the service is not activated? so the 3 day activation clock does not start until it's on the way?

It seems all 128/256 GB phones are unable to add to cart. Party is close to over..
I had to settle for an AT&T 128 in Red today after Walmart cancelled my order for black last night for supsected "fraud." Had to use my wife's SSN as Verizon would not accept either mine or hers. AT&T would not accept mine, and I have stellar credit. I ordered some phones from Verizon on a similar deal several years ago, paid off immediately and presume we are now blacklisted because of that. Must have gotten one from AT&T in my name as well some years ago.

May I know it is a hard pull or soft pull from AT&T?

Sounds like any inactive or new off the shelf att or att mvno sim will work. Not sure about active. Process may work the same for tmobile, but no one has confirmed success with their unlock process.

Just curious, what have you done with all the phones over the years?

I am trying to activate Verizon phone using H2O sim and I am getting SIM not Supported. This is the only sim I have placed in the phone. Should the H2O sim be activated before trying the activate the phone?

Maybe it takes a while to show up, but I don't see any inquiries on my wife's credit from AT&T on Equifax, TransUnion, or Experian. I do see soft pulls from Verizon on Equifax.
