Take a look at the website - rtings.com. They do a ton of TV testing and break everything down in easier to understand teams and have a bunch of tools to help narrow the search. I don't think this Hisense is any good.

Understand that I'm an old guy & know next to nothing about the fancy TV sets these days. I grew up in the '50s when all TVs were plagued with horizontal & vertical roll, with adjustment knobs accordingly, and the largest I recall was 21" and seemingly weighed a ton. This appears to be a real SD. Repped.

I bought a 65 inch from Walmart a few months ago. Delivered perfectly fine. The package was well secured in styrofoam from the manufacturer. Ymmv

It comes with a remote too!

Plus you don't have to yell at it to go turn the knob or hold the antenna to get better reception. Good to be a kid these days and not a remote.

Not to be argumentative, but it's all relative in the sense that I recall when I didn't have a TV. With that in mind, any TV can sometimes be a good TV. As an aside, in the '70s, I had a friend who was living in a mobile home (what we here in SC call trailers). His front door was difficult to close and would not lock. I once said, "Boots, why don't you fix that damn door?" He replied, "you want to know the truth?" After answering in the affirmative, he said " because I remember the time I didn't have a door." Yeah, he grew up that poor in the rural South in those days.

How's this compared to the U6H? U6H is $480 at Best Buy

Of course its relative but my point is if you're going to buy one of the thousands of modern TVs its good to have a resource to help with the decision and not go strictly off the best available deal. Obviously any TV is better than no TV. 🫤

Problem with buying TVs from Walmart is that chances are, they will always come with screens cracked. I think it's their warehouse issue. They don't give a damn
I've had at least 5 tvs delivered from walmart over the years, for myself and as gifts for others. None arrived damaged. I think you just had bad luck.

I believe U series is supposed to be a higher end line of Hisense. A Series and R series are similar, but one is Google OS and the other is Roku OS.
I own the 75" A65K from Costco, and it does great with movies and TV Shows. There is some backlight bleed in the corners during dark scenes, but I expect that with anything besides an OLED.

Great deal. Just remember to add 5 year warranty. Never know
I am not one to usually buy a warranty but I would consider for this one. Looks like it would be $39 via Walmart for 3 years.

The question I have is if this TV has a 1 year manufacturer warranty does the extended warranty run concurrent? IE 2 years on top of 1 year manufacturer.

And use AMEX card for extended warranty if you don't plan on buying separately

I'm going to assume all the warranties from Walmart are the same. I bought a Mountain bike for one of my kids earlier this year and the Derailleur broke within a few months. When i went to do the warranty from Walmart they came back with, it's still under the manufacturer warranty and to contact them. The walmart warranty is for after the Manufacturer warranty.

It's more likely the delivery service combined with a frantic time of year for deliveries that'll cause this. Get it now to avoid the Black Friday/Cyber Monday crush & you're more likely to get an intact delivery.
