Take a look at the website - rtings.com. They do a ton of TV testing and break everything down in easier to understand teams and have a bunch of tools to help narrow the search. I don't think this Hisense is any good.

Understand that I'm an old guy & know next to nothing about the fancy TV sets these days. I grew up in the '50s when all TVs were plagued with horizontal & vertical roll, with adjustment knobs accordingly, and the largest I recall was 21" and seemingly weighed a ton. This appears to be a real SD. Repped.

I bought a 65 inch from Walmart a few months ago. Delivered perfectly fine. The package was well secured in styrofoam from the manufacturer. Ymmv

Got mine today, in the back of an SUV, guy had two of them, laid flat, thankfully i'm a short distance from wally, don't know how much these tvs will handle laying flat. Legs are about 50" apart, only one spot to put them no inner spot, although there are holes there, think for the speakers, TV is pretty good deal, its no OLED like most of the trolls on here want, and want a 100" oled for $2 and the best black levels ever 10 across the board rating, 500hz gaming, does the dishes and cleans the house. Those with a peeling fetish for tape, will have an orgasm with this TV. Comes is cardboard box with straps, no pop out plug holders like i prefer, but its a $400 75" TV! Wally lets you know a few minutes before delivery its on its way.

I got mine yesterday and it absolutely has holes in the middle for the stand. 30 inches apart. Thats how I set mine up.

Snagged this deal yest and got it delivered and set up just now. There is some disappointing light banding on dark screens that Hisense says is normal, but i don't know if I can live with it. Spent a few hours in settings and tested it on Game of Thrones dark scenes; it's not ideal. Normies might not notice it, but once you point it out, it's hard to ignore. I understand this is a $400 75" but I can't believe how mid this is. Not noticable on normal / bright scenes, but it can't do wall to wall deep black.

Anyone else with this exact model confirm black screens have a bit of light leak on both bottom and top?
Understand your concerns, but for me....at a $400 price point I'm willing to live with items. I understand your cautioning to others that they need to temper expectations.

For me: If I want high Quality I'll go into my theater with a Sony projector, so I am fine with this as my Family room TV for every day / normal use.

Laid mine in the back of a pickup truck for a 50 minute drive. It was propped on the closed tailgate and did fine. The packaging was very good. Even an extra layer of screen protection in the box. Like 1/2" cardboard to protect it inside the box.

I snagged one last night for store pickup for $398 + 5 year extended warranty for $55, picked it up earlier today, and I plan to set it up this evening. I will post back here once I see how the picture and sound are. They had a different version of an 75" R6 Hisense on display in the store (model 75R6E4 for $578) and it had a pretty decent picture so hopefully this 75R6030K version will be similar. Not expecting OLED mini-led local dimming 120hz quality for this cheap, but hopefully it will be decent enough that I don't have to return it.
My initial reviews so far - the picture and sound overall is above average for what it is. I watched a movie and a football game, nothing bad but not super great either. I hooked up my laptop to it and ran through some calibration and testing videos on YT and was able to improve the picture over the default settings. It handles fast motion a good deal better than the 3 year old Hisense 65R6E that quit working and had to be replaced, and the blacks are a bit better, less splotchy than the old one. The picture quality for 4K content to me looked really good, but SD upscaled content quality is not that great. I can see a tiny bit of light bleed around the edges but it's *not* bad at all compared to the old one. And this new set is a good bit easier to see in a bright room. All in all, a 75" 4K TV with a 5 year warranty for $455+tax is a decent deal for what it is overall.

The R6 series has an extremely reflective screen. Unless you have a very dark room and no lights behind the screen, you won't like it.

Can confirm it is full array. And also works great! Audio/speakers better than I thought
Stupid question but how can you decipher if it's edge or full array?

Could you give more details on what you did and what videos you used to calibrate?

You can not believe how mid this tv is? A $400 75" tv, $400 for a 75" tv and it's mid.
I'm going to guess you are part of this up and coming young generation that wants all the handouts lmaooo.
$400 for a 75" that slaps mid sound like a great deal to me. You think for $600 you should be able to buy an OLED i bet LMAO

I love the Roku TV's, I have the 65" and would love to upgrade but hate to do the refund and upgrade at Costco... I will say my left and right bottom corners have ghosting so keep an eye on that.
