yea people dont realize the FE series is a powerful phone, way better than the A5x series samsung phones. An dthe trade in value for the FE phone stays strong even 2-3 years later.

you don't need 180 days service, only pay it for the order, 180 days later after activation, you will be able to get unlocked...

I actually like all the moto phones I've had, but the updates or lack thereof keeps me away

I have a weird question. I currently use a metro phone and metro sim. If I buy this new one, can I just pop in the old sim in this and use this phone. And pop the new sim in the older metro phone? I am okay to lose the new number but not the older one. My current phone will unlock in 3 more months.
I am in the same boat. Would inserting my current metropcs sim card in the phone prevent the phone from being unlocked after 6 months?
Do we first insert them new sim card and activate the new phone line and then remove the sim card and insert our current sim card?

My order has been sitting in shipping on 11/2 since 11/2. My CC has a pending charge from Metro though.

p.s. Now shows as shipped

really hoping this comes back on stock. I am on the fence, considering getting the boost 8 gen 1 phone, and a $30 unlock fee. Or waiting for a gen 2 to go on sale. But i woulndt mind getting tihs phone in the meantime. How long did it stay in stock last time?

Are you referring boost mobile "512GB Motorola Edge+ 2022 Smartphone" ?
"512GB Motorola Edge+ 2022 Smartphone" is much better phone with 4x bigger memory with SD card than s23 fe

There is no impact on your unlocking eligibility after you swap your SIM card.
Even though, generally, people should avoid creating complexity before the phone gets unlocked,

Just set up the phone, at this price point it's awesome for a back-up phone or to share with the little one to distract them while we're out.

Thanks again CGIGATE!

Would this be an significant upgrade to my S20+?
I have an S20. The S23fe has lower RAM, a bulkier build, and no SD card. Might be a bit better battery life, and faster processor but that's probably outweighed by the lower RAM. Camera TBD.

Hey, not too familiar with SIM settings, but attached is a screenshot from the SIM manager screen.

I have the S20 FE as well, still a beast after 3 years. This S23 FE for sure is a more powerful phone, other than that it's only 128GB and unlike S20 FE it does not have a SD card slot.
s20 fe represent. its still a decent phone in 2023. fast charging and sd card > all other phones lacking these features barring spec upgrades

The 128GB storage size and no microSD slot seem like show stoppers to me. I've always had phones that supported microSD cards to store photos/videos on and inserted a new memory card as needed. How do those who got this phone plan to deal with this if you start running into storage space issues? Will you rely on cloud storage for photos/videos or offload them to a local storage and and delete the local files when you start running out of space?
