yea people dont realize the FE series is a powerful phone, way better than the A5x series samsung phones. An dthe trade in value for the FE phone stays strong even 2-3 years later.

you don't need 180 days service, only pay it for the order, 180 days later after activation, you will be able to get unlocked...

When we order the phone, do they have auto pay enabled?
I tried to activate the phone but on the activation page, it mentioned the phone has already been activated without me pop the sim in the phone.
Can I give the unopened phone to anyone with exisiting metro service?
But I don't want to Auto-charged ever since.

I took advantage of this A54 deal from back in May and my device unlocked automatically on its own either yesterday or today. You def need to make sure your phone has been activated by the carrier and make a few calls afterwards for only the first month and let the next month's bill lapse so the service terminates on its own then leave the sim card in the phone for the next 6 months. I just used my phone to take pics and for the WiFi while waiting for it to unlock. The 6-months mark for me should've been Nov 12th though, but now it's unlocked 🙄🤷🏽 ♂. However, if it doesn't unlock on its own, follow these instructions [metrobyt-mobile.com].

So we have to wait 2 months to use this phone with our primary Metropcs sim card/phone number? Can we just call metro and ask them to transfer the IMEI to our orginal phone number?

Can call Support to cancel the line early or use the Metro App/Website and switch the device to different IMEI so can free it up.

I used to have service w/ MetroPCS when it used to be called that back in 2015-2017 and I can confirm that you can use not only another Metro SIM card on the phone since it's locked to their network, but you can also use a T-Mobile SIM card since T-Mobile owns Metro.

Nope, you cannot use T-Mobile SIM on Metro phones mostly, only few years ago, there were a glitch for software initial settings from Metro, three Metro phones ( one of each Samsung, Moto and OnePlus) were able to use T-Mobile SIM card, but later on for new manufactured with updated initial settings that blocks the loophole
