yea people dont realize the FE series is a powerful phone, way better than the A5x series samsung phones. An dthe trade in value for the FE phone stays strong even 2-3 years later.

you don't need 180 days service, only pay it for the order, 180 days later after activation, you will be able to get unlocked...

I actually like all the moto phones I've had, but the updates or lack thereof keeps me away

Iphone SE is worth $160 apple gift card. You can trade them in and buy newer iphone 15 for half the price.

anyone have any luck finding these in-store in the past day or two or are they very likely sold out everywhere?
I just got one from store one hour ago, they charge me $10 SIM, $75 for one month service, $50 for phone and $61.5 tax, so total of $186.49. Definitely worse than ~$150 online but for a new phone, it's not bad.

I just double checked my receipt. There is no activation fee, they also waived the $10 SIM fee and the plan is $65, but they add a bundle called "premium service bundle" for $10 and they never told me that, I will try to call the customer service and try to get my $10 back.

Anything over $150 and I would walk away.

Can you confirm it has esim? The Metro specs don't say and some versions of this phone don't have it.

EDIT: nevermind, I see someone posted a screenshot that shows eSIM capable.

You def need to make sure your phone has been activated by the carrier and make a few calls afterwards for only the first month.

no you dont. i did this deal 3 prior times and didnt make any calls and they unlocked after 6 months fine.

yes goes without saying it has to be activated though.

it seems like you did that, it worked, so you decided its necessary. not exactly the scientific method LMAO

it probably wont hurt though. if it makes anybody feel better, do it!

Yes eventually you need to run the Unlock app on the phone to trigger the unlock so you need to turn it on
