yea people dont realize the FE series is a powerful phone, way better than the A5x series samsung phones. An dthe trade in value for the FE phone stays strong even 2-3 years later.

you don't need 180 days service, only pay it for the order, 180 days later after activation, you will be able to get unlocked...

I actually like all the moto phones I've had, but the updates or lack thereof keeps me away

tmobile sim didn't work on both of mine. It actually forces a reboot and installs the tmobile apps

after the reboot, it worked with my tmobile sim (postpaid)

when i put back the metro sim, it reboots and went back to metro without issues

this is awesome because it allows you to use your tmobile sim on the phone while waiting for metro 6month unlock

lucky it works for you. I tried both FEs and both give me "SIM 1 not allowed"

thats odd... it detected tmobile sim and rebooted to install app (supposedly to make it work)... then it still doesn't work?
do you have post paid or prepaid? just curious

Wonder what the difference is why it worked on one/some but not on others. I guess I could try to see what happens with mine.

any my parents (and a lot of people) wont care. $40-$100 for a more modern smartphone is a great deal. If you can get a s24 for $100, then Ill buy that also

T-mobile military plans can use locked metro phones.

As far as I know, t-mobile can/will unlock its locked phones for military personnel without fulfilling the unlock requirements, such as waiting 40 days or paying off EIPs. If the previous post from beggerking is correct, then T-Mobile is allowing sims from military plans to be used on locked metro phones. It seems like t-mobile is controlling from a server side.
