yea people dont realize the FE series is a powerful phone, way better than the A5x series samsung phones. An dthe trade in value for the FE phone stays strong even 2-3 years later.

you don't need 180 days service, only pay it for the order, 180 days later after activation, you will be able to get unlocked...

My S23FE is due to unlock around May 4th, is it automatically going to do it or do I need to do something to unlock it?

Go into settings, then connections. There will be a place where you can request a permanent unlock.

FYI the s23 FE is now $50 when you bring your own number

So $50 + 40 + cost of a number to port, less than $100 for this phone

After 180 days just go under your settings and request an unlock. Try the next couple days if it doesn't go through.

Today is day 181 since the phone was activated on 11/2. Still get an error when trying to unlock, tried clearing cache of the unlock app, rebooting, factory resetting, and inserting different sim. I wonder if it will ever unlock. I guess it's always a risk doing these Metro deals.

Edit: Unlocked on day 182. Didn't work in the morning but a few hours later I tried again and it worked.

It actually unlocked for me today on day 182. So try waiting a few more days.

Reps are 100% wrong since terms just say 180 days since activation date (One hundred eighty (180) days must have passed since the device's activation date.)
