Great design but Samsung has the WORST reliability of any fridge on the market. Mine broke in 3 months. There has been a major news article recently about problems with Samsung fridges.

Like everything, my soundbar $400, broke in just 5 months. I had to sent it for repair. My cellphone is also broken and had to be repaired.
My Samsung TV is still working, but I don't put too much hope. $2k

Again. I'm not advocating for one company or another but it's really not "like everything". If I recall correctly there has been 300% increase in consumer complaints against Samsung fridges. Then there is huge gap between Samsung complaints and the next company down. Anyway, I'll try to dig up the article (I'm sure one can search for it quickly) but be aware and perhaps this is the time to spring for extra warranty?
I have a Samsung fridge 13 years old that had defrost icing up issues that caused the temps to go up to 55-60C unless de-iced every month. Recently I am suspecting a computer that controls main board that controls the heater coil for defrost stopped functioning resulting in required de-icing every 5 to 7 days past couple months. So this issue forced me to buy a new fridge this year (went with GE 25.3 cu feet due to better reviews than Samsung).
....New Samsungs must be on their way down...just looks great, but functionality may not last 5-8 years without issues if you are lucky (most likely will have problems in under 5 years).
Prior to all these problems My Samsung worked great for 12 years without any issues except leaking water on the floor after 9 years owning, which required a $20 part to do a DIY repair at the back of the fridge before my last icing up issue 3 years later...

I would say at this point buy what you like. They are all built to fail. Planned obscelence.
No brand is making them to last 20+ years. Expect 5-7 years of good service. Then a few service repairs to get another 5 years out of it. Then buy again because it's not worth putting money into an older refrigerator.

My Samsung galaxy phones go forever and so do Samsung monitors. But appliances are a different story.
Most of these brands including LG get their appliances made by the same big factories. They just slap on their name. And yes it's almost predetermined that you will get 5-7 years before you experience big problems that require servicing or a replacement.
My old GE fridge lasted just about 15 years BUT it did have an issue which wasn't easily fixed for a while. (water line freezing - ended up swapping out freezer side door which worked for a while but still froze up the line)
I got the 4 door flex one BUT the ergonomics of the shelves, especially the door shelf really sucks. Also, delivery people messed up my hardwood floor which they paid for repair but still a headache.
Also, if you spill anything, it will just flow straight down to the bottom shelf. My 15 yr old GE fridge had spill contain feature so that unless you spill a LOT of liquid, they will be contained within the same shelf so we need to clean up only 1 shelf instead of taking out ALL the shelves and clean them up AND the bottom shelf glass is pain in the butt to take off.
I cant take these replies serious in here. I've checked all the reviews and rating on different websites selling their appliances and all are mostly positive, 4.4/5 stars etc.
I think samsung, LG and others have had a bad rep from years past regarding appliances. However when compared to appliances of old, ALL appliances suck and will be needing replacement. these aren't your grandmothers appliances anymore that lasts decades.

And you think these mega corporations haven't figured out a way to manipulate online reviews when sales/profits are on the line?
