Probably not. When added to cart, it shows the battery kit for $199, and then the added tool as a "free gift". HD prorates the prices, so you can return one or the other, but this appears to be all or nothing.

You didn't do anything wrong. They just have two different packages. This specific one the tools came with the batteries and there is no free gift. If you have the free gift then it is a separate item and can be returned without the other things.
