Earn 5% Back at restaurants, whether you dine-in, take out or order delivery
I receive an email this morning letting me know that I could activate a quarterly 5% cash back on restaurants + dine-in + food ordering apps from Nov-Dec 31st.
Note that not all users got this email, so I'll attach a screenshot and subject line to this thread.

Earn an extra 3% back (for a total of 5%) on purchases at restaurants: To be eligible for this bonus offer, you must activate by 12/31/23 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. During the promotional period of 11/01/23 until 12/31/23, earn a total of 5% back per $1 spent on purchases at restaurants, up to $1,000 on purchases ($50 maximum earn), when you use your Prime Visa card. That's an extra 3% back in addition to the 2% back you already earn on purchases at restaurants. Purchases must post to your account by the last day of the promotional period to qualify. Sometimes your card will be charged on a date after you make a purchase, such as the shipping date, and as a result the purchase may not post to your account until after the last day of the promotional period. The % back rewards for this promotion are earned after the close of each qualifying Daily Rewards posting and are generally available to be used the same day; however, it may take up to one additional day to become available if the extra points are earned after the close of the last qualifying Daily Rewards posting. Daily Rewards will post Sunday through Friday each week. To qualify for this promotional offer, your account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment. This promotional offer is non-transferable. For more information about your rewards program, see your Rewards Program Agreement.
Definitely spending habits in those categories. I barely used my amex for a year and they offered 9% APR for 12 months.
They gave me HBO credits based on spending habits? How did they come to that conclusion? Haven't even had HBO in months and until they post a good deal won't subscribe again because it's not worth $20 to me. It may be for some but not for me.

I have 4 chase cards (Amazon, preferred, CFF, WoH) - they all were for the HBOmax $35 credit statement

Don't use the awards to buy from Amazon, because then you don't earn the full % perk of using the card on Amazon purchases.
