4) Follow voice prompt to enter IMEI, ZIP code, create PIN, etc. When asked by the prompt if you want to "add to an existing account", say "No". If you purchased a plan with the phone, it will recognize this and automatically activate the SIM for the plan.
When the voice prompt tells you to power on the device, the instructions were incomplete and unclear. If you've never activated a phone before here are the steps:
1) Attached to the box for your phone is the associated SIM card in a pouch; remove and punch out the nano-SIM.
2) Using the SIM tool in the iPhone box (or a small paperclip), pop out your SIM card tray and insert the nano-SIM.
3) Re-insert the SIM tray into the iPhone and power on the phone.
4) Go through the setup process; I recommend connecting to WiFi when prompted to make things go faster.
5) Your phone should be activated within a few minutes of being powered on with the SIM inserted, assuming you went through all the steps in the automated phone activation.
I'm not going to waste my time going there, but thought I'd help others. Be sure to call the local Walmart you are going to, ask if they have the phone in stock (both stores said online they didn't have stock, but both stores did have them in stock) and ask if they have the WARP system for activation. My order is showing Pending Remote Fulfillment, so it hasn't shipped.
Update - ST rep just told me that they have no way to cancel an order in their system even though it's pending and hasn't shipped, so I will have to refuse the shipment when it arrives. WTF? Absurd

If you already have an active straight talk line and you want to find a loophole to flipping unlocked iphones on ebay, it may not work. A new line needs to be activated. Just abide by the rules. Paying $84 or $94 is a good deal.
Even if one got a locked straight talk phone with no plan for $49, it is going to be locked straight talk iphone se 2022. The value isn't going to be that high especially with the flooded locked/unlocked iphones, ebay/paypal/shipping fees. I think some flippers are overestimating their profit. Straight Talk will continue to put out sales too like Xmas sale. Flippers could be setting themselves up for disappointment.
Once the box is open, it is used to me. I don't want to hear from eBay seller that it is brand new open box just to unlock. How do we know it wasn't some used iPhone se 2022 that was used for a year and thrown in a box?

How about both?
They allowed people to purchase the phone without a plan. There wasn't some special hack or code to enter.
They allowed people to purchase the phone with the 35 dollar plan, the same as advertised with Walmart.
Only now have they gone back and changed it to require the 45 dollar plan. That's on them, not on the consumer.
So either cancel the order and refund, or ship it out. The fact that the are shipping out orders with the 45 dollar plan that came a day + later and holding all the other orders in limbo is super sketchy.
