I said this earlier in the thread that IMO most of the orders in this thread are going to be delivered. Just sit tight and do nothing (yes I have been banned before, yes I have had phones cancelled after being shipped, Yes, I have had orders cancelled, etc etc)
Sit tight? It's been over a week. I already got my money back from my bank. I don't want the phone anymore.

Incredible. I've never read so many straight talk apologists in my life. You people still stuck in "pending fulfillment" like me are not getting your phones. In fact, you're not getting your money back either. You've been had. Write the 50 bucks off or contact your CC company. The lackey in India who just answered your call doesn't give a damn.
You have no clue what you're talking about whatsoever. There are many people who have done these deals repeatedly and know how it works and that these delays usually work themselves out with a little time, either by shipment or cancellation. There was one major screwup iPhone 11 deal, but most others have not been that chaotic. A week is not even close to some crazy length of time that some idiots are making it out to be. File your dispute and be done with it if you like, but not everyone listens to such stupidity and realize that loads of people have been getting these deals repeatedly for years and will continue to do so because they're often worthwhile, despite a few headaches that may crop up. People aren't losing their money. You simply file a dispute if it doesn't get worked out. However, the "oh my, oh my … it's been a whole week" sentiment is just drama queen BS.

I have never ever heard of any business company that said "We can't ship your product. We also won't refund your money. You need to file a dispute chargeback with the credit card company.". This makes the process more time consuming and more difficult. The customer service are the ones with the power to charge and to give refunds. They check their computer, see that the product is stuck in limbo, out of stock or whatever, they cancel and issue refund.

Chargebacks are supposed to be used for fraud situations where you see a charge on your statement that is unrecognized and you never ever made. If you file a chargeback with the credit card company and then the phone is shipped out today or tomorrow, it throws a wrench in the process. Credit card company or straight talk company may think the customer is trying to scam for a free phone with a delay shipping.
actually, you only described 1 situation

You sound like a drama apologist. I think you're working for st.
The deal shouldn't take this damn long. Either you have it and ship it or you don't. Don't make us wait and wait without giving us details.

Maybe shouldn't take so long, but often does. That's the way it works with them and it sucks, but I'm one of the many here who repeatedly grab deals from them when the great deals come along because the delays aren't as big of a deal as some people try to make them out to be and I'll always end up with either my phone or my money back one way or another. Anyone who doubts that and thinks they're actually going to lose their money in the end has no idea what they're doing.

the iphone 11 one was a pretty good indicator how this one will turn out.

if you ordered this with a $45 plan, then it should eventually ship, like the iphone 11's prior to that screw-up because those were what they were intended to sell for.

if you ordered this w/o a plan or with the $35 then 99% of those won't ship just like that iphone 11 screw-up. you might get some edge cases slipped through here and there but just that one, only during the first day or so.

the problem is the charge is no longer pending and you're on hook for that for the next credit card billing cycle. if it were pending until shipping then sure, no one minds, but it's not the case here. sure you'd get it refunded eventually but why would i lose my credit allowance over this for some unknown date refund?

Idk about other states, I was told by WM staff, that only supercenter stores can activate the account. When I went to different walmart (which is supercenter), the wireless staff went home earlier than he supposed to. Another electronic staff was able to do it without issue, and I heard him discussing with his co-workers, "well, since he left early and I don't have his access, no one will get promotion incentive by doing this.".

It took me time to encouraged electronic dept staff to do it. I asked him, if he doesn't know what to do, I told him to according to wiki in this thread. Create new account, etc...
I got mine without issue.

Next credit card billing cycle is a long time away. With credit card disputes, you have like 2 months. One has plenty of time to dispute. Chargeback are designed to dispute unrecognized charges where fraud or some error happened. Not for 6 day delay of not receiving tracking# after 6 days. Better to get cancellations/refunds from straight talk than to throw the wrench in the process with credit card "fraud charge". People who claimed fraud charge and then receives the product 3 days from now will keep the phone or deny it and return back to sender?

I remember that I ordered a Lenovo laptop from Walmart and there was a long delay and I never received so I contacted Walmart and told them to cancel my order. Soon I received the laptop and I was later charged again. Best to deal with the company rather than throw in credit card "fraud chargebacks". A delay in shipment and fraud chargeback are two different things. It has been 6 days for me. My recent bike purchase was a couple weeks and my paint was a month to receive. Delays happen and aren't new.

Hmm, randomly appeared as in-stock finally at my Walmart 3 miles away. Might stop and get one just to have and get unlocked for when my son needs a phone in the next year or so, he's still young.

long time compared to what? not to an unknown refund date.

btw how do you know when my credit card billing cycle is? LMAO

and I would like to ask you how many cases are there for the past, lets say, 3 days, people are getting shipments for the $35 or no plan orders? it's blatantly obvious they not "out of stock".

as i said, if you're on the $45 plan sure, you should wait. if you're on the $35 or no plan, you have zero chance of getting it, based on what happened with the iphone 11 screw-up.

Hopefully, you will get the deal but be prepared

Be sure and have an email you want to give to Straight Talk, IMO make a burner email before you go, or give a very unique email with gmail that you know no sane individual would ever use and then use your new phone number to verify that new unique email

Next, ask the rep to start at the $35 dollar plan. If the rep pushes back just ask them to give it a try. Don't be surprised if they push you to a higher plan, but start the negotiation at $35 dollar plan. If you get the phone, put in the sim and turn it on and complete set-up. It is already activated.

My 11-8 order of two phones with 45/30 plans went from no status to "Pending remote fulfillment" Saturday to "Shipped" Sunday to "Label Created." yesterday, and just changed to "On the Way...Estimated delivery Tomorrow, November 15 by 7:00 P.M"

It's because I am a good person.
