Got my order for 2 phones delivered today, and got them both activated to start the countdown clock on the unlock. For anyone who bought one just to activate for the one-month plan you purchased and unlock, the easiest way is the automated phone service (the online process wasn't working for me):

1) 1-877-430-2355
2) Press 2 to Activate Device
3) Press 2 for a New Number
4) Follow voice prompt to enter IMEI, ZIP code, create PIN, etc. When asked by the prompt if you want to "add to an existing account", say "No". If you purchased a plan with the phone, it will recognize this and automatically activate the SIM for the plan.

When the voice prompt tells you to power on the device, the instructions were incomplete and unclear. If you've never activated a phone before here are the steps:

1) Attached to the box for your phone is the associated SIM card in a pouch; remove and punch out the nano-SIM.
2) Using the SIM tool in the iPhone box (or a small paperclip), pop out your SIM card tray and insert the nano-SIM.
3) Re-insert the SIM tray into the iPhone and power on the phone.
4) Go through the setup process; I recommend connecting to WiFi when prompted to make things go faster.
5) Your phone should be activated within a few minutes of being powered on with the SIM inserted, assuming you went through all the steps in the automated phone activation.
So no luck at Tega Cay, SC Walmart. They did have at least 2 in stock. The guy was nice looking into it for 30 mins or so. He finally found out the Walmart had to have the WARP system for in-store phone activation so call up or local Walmart to ask if they have that. He mentioned the store in Rock Hill, SC on Dave Wylie had the WARP system.

I'm not going to waste my time going there, but thought I'd help others. Be sure to call the local Walmart you are going to, ask if they have the phone in stock (both stores said online they didn't have stock, but both stores did have them in stock) and ask if they have the WARP system for activation. Good luck everyone.
Yes done it three times now. Use it a few times with the straighttalk network for a few days first though. Text, call, browse then 61 days later unlocked.

Thanks so much for the info! Repped!
Fingers crossed that you get the dealnod

If you go for 2 phones you need two different emails for the deal to work

ask the rep for 2 different orders

IMO do not give the email you use on a daily basis if buying at Walmart

My 11-8 order of two phones with 45/30 plans went from no status to "Pending remote fulfillment" Saturday to "Shipped" Sunday to "Label Created." yesterday, and just changed to "On the Way...Estimated delivery Tomorrow, November 15 by 7:00 P.M"

It's because I am a good person.
Mine was on 11-7 same order as yours it still shows as approved and when I called they stated is cancelled. You are lucky. Enjoy the new phone

A lot of people on here seem to think that we should be allowing Straight Talk hold our money for 60+ days without providing any information and thank them for the privilege...

IMO everyone with the "Pending remote fulfillment" deception should do a cc chargeback because this is FRAUD on the part of ST. They have taken, and are holding your money without the intention of fulfilling your order while telling you otherwise.

Called Straight Talk today (my third call) regarding an order I'd placed on November 6 that had never been shipped. An order for which I couldn't even check the status online, and yet they had taken the money from my credit card. When I called last Thursday, and then again Friday, the representatives assured me that they'd checked on my order and saw it in the system, and that I should give it the full 3-5 business days to hear something. Though I knew it was a waste of time, I indulged them. Of course, Monday came and went with no update of any kind, so I called back today. I insisted on the order being cancelled and refunded, and was transferred to the refund department. The representative said they were "waiting on their application to load", and then the call was ended.

I called back, was transferred to the refund department again, and this representative informed me the order had been cancelled on the 6th. When I asked why StraightTalk had proceeded to take payment from my credit card on the 8th, and why I hadn't been refunded since, she said she would check on that for me... and the call abruptly ended.

Needless to say, a dispute has already been filed with my credit card company. Keep an eye on your statements and don't assume that because they cancelled your order they won't try to take your money.

Don't do a chargeback now. Do you still want the phones? Total is a sister company and the phones will work on their service YMMV.
I intended to use them on Total by Verizon service, but if I don't get the phones it's not a big deal. I don't want to be banned and have my cell phone service disabled. I also don't want to lose the money for my order and end up with nothing. Guess I'll just sit tight a while longer.

The stock in their webpage is not for the bundle but for the iPhone 150$ the bundle has different tag number better ring them before you drive I drove to one in the same situation to learn that they don't have stock to the bundle

It is going to be YMMV on whether or not the premium rep can get access to that stock. I bought 3 in store and the Premium rep was able to get access with the store managers approval.

One of my phones ordered Wednesday night updated from Label created to arriving tomorrow
Sadly this was the more expensive one with the 45 plan but this one I think tracked for CB at least

Absolutely nobody has said that people should allow them to hold their money for 60+ days. In fact, nobody has even suggested waiting a month. But it's only been 8 days and it's not at all uncommon for them to ship orders or issue refunds after a couple of weeks. Yes, there may be some cancellations and a lot of uncertainty, but the nonsense of turning a one week delay into some kind of emergency situation is way overblown.

YMMV but most likely you can use them "day one" on Total, but if possible the safest bet is to wait the 61 days for the sim to show unrestricted, and then call Total to make the switch. That way you would have an easier time if you decided to get service from another company, and an easier time selling or exchanging the phone in the future

Many have reported shipments today, good luck

Yeah, that's completely understandable and nobody has any issues with chargebacks when orders get hung up in some kind of never-ending limbo. But such things have cropped up many times with them that usually get sorted out within a few weeks (yes, of course except the iPhone 11 fiasco). The chargeback option will still be there and ensure you don't lose money, but jumping to it as a first reaction after one week is just overkill

What is an acceptable amount of time for them to hold consumer money under false pretenses, pray tell? Their customer service is an inpenetrable fortress of deflection. The only way to get their attention as a consumer is by way of a credit card chargeback.

I called customer service and was told that their system shows my order did not process fully on their end and to get my money back I should do a chargeback with my bank. They say they're not able to process a refund.
