I considered buying a $250 gift card to get the 10% bonus card which equates to a 9.1% discount and using it for the game room and gift shop, but by the time I pay for the $9.50 shipping cost, you are talking about a paltry 5.6% discount on a card that may take me two years to use.

You can call and have an agent book with a gift card. Or you can book online with a credit card but switch to the gift card when you check in.

My gift card shipped the same day I ordered, even though the site says it can take up to 3 days to ship. Might start taking longer though as we get closer to holidays.
We usually only stay 1 night so I looked back at what we spent last time, then I ordered a card for double that amount so we'd be over $1k for the 20%. After code, 20% bonus, and shipping fee, I spent 52% more than I paid for our last trip, but our next night is paid for with the leftover card balance.
Slight PITA that they can't attach the GC# to your account or let you book online with the GC, so it basically required me to check in and check out with a human, instead of checking in at a kiosk and letting the auto-checkout bill my credit card for our room/bracelet charges.
Saved a lot of $$ though so abosolutely worth it IMO. Although I imagine we will return sooner than we would have without the deal, so I probably shouldn't have let the family know how much i saved
