I went thru a phase of hoarding all different kinds of mechanical keyboards but I always come back to this one. The fit, finish, feel, and the low profile key caps are just spectacular

I'm sure it's a great keyboard if you're that particular but I'd never pay $250 for a keyboard.

I'm really liking my $15 RGB Blue Switch keyboard [a.co]. (now $20 but was $15 when I bought it). It's all metal (heavy) and has great feel and lots of preprogrammed LED animation patterns.

While I love this keyboard, I'm currently on a second replacement for double click issues. That said, Logitech's support is AMAZING and quickly sends a new replacement. I think I'm just having bad luck with theem (see - that's one there) cause generally they're very well reviewed. (the newest replacement is in the box still cause I just moved)
Good reviews paired with double-clicking hardware failures is kind of Logitech's MO. Their stuff is always well reviewed but WILL fail within 1-3 years. I keep buying it because the feature implementations are way better than anything else, but they're incredibly expensive and unreliable. I've gone through 2 bad headsets, 4 mice, and now my mech keyboard is double clicking. The brand simply does not have long-term quality, just the initial impression of it.

i definitely feel this is one of the better logitech products but they need a revamp at the very least USB-C. I would definitely consider a usb version of this for 150$ because the warranty is great but other than that im probably stuck with other companies like NuPhy and Keychron, epomaker

I am on my 3rd keyboard because of double click issues, the first replacement also came with issues, and the 3rd seems okay. I literally have it on E as well.

But, they never asked me to send back the 1st or 2nd one, so I have two KBs with double click issues that are too good to toss out so now I have one at work, at home, and one spare.
Yep, it was E for me too, at around 18 months on both the original and its replacement. Buy the replacement plan, you'll be using it.

Loved the ease of switching between PCs with a single button press, was happy with the feel and layout, but the longevity for the price wasn't there. When the last one died, I switched from the TKL version to this 75% Royal Kludge [amazon.com] with replaceable switches and multiple Bluetooth profiles for $85 and have zero regrets so far. The brown switches are smooth with just the perfect light layer of feedback, and the aluminum base is solid enough you could beat someone to death with it and go right back to work afterwards.

$128 + $7 tax. $135 total. Is this fair price for this keyboard? What other keyboards at this price that are better than this one? I don't know much about keyboard, I'm using a CoolerMaster keyboard for 8 years now. It is time to replace. Thanks all.

These were $130 direct from Logitech during the Prime Days specials. I'm hoping they dip back down during BF.

I did notice that the price of these fell on Amazon today too (probably matching BB).

Been wanting to get one of these for a while. Thanks for the great post, OP!
These are definitely worth it at the $120 price point. Im usually a keyboard snob but i am loving this thing so far

Despite some issues that others may have with it, I personally feel that this is the best keyboard I have ever used. So much so that I use the wired version (G815) at work with the tactile switches, a G915 full size clicky switches at home on my gaming setup, and a G915 TKL linear for my road gear.

On my 915's I use one of the detachable magnetic cables so I leave the micro usb head plugged in at all times to avoid any wear and tear. Yea I still have to have the magnetic cable to charge and would love for them to put out an updated one with USB C but I've been fine thus far and can deal with that.

Never had any double click issues with any of the keyboards, so I can't speak to that. But considering I carry my TKL on the road and have done so for 3 years it's held up quite well with many hours of work and gaming on the keyboard. I did, ofc, buy a case for it to help it hold up.

Is it the best keyboard of all time? I'm sure there are people that would prefer others. This is low profile and some I am sure will find the key wobble to be unacceptable. I have never been that picky about keyboards, nor do I even notice any wobble without specifically looking for it, but to each their own. Hopefully at some point Logitech will address the lingering issues some people have with this keyboard and make it even better, but for now I am perfectly happy with the ones I own.

I've had mine for over a year and a half. I have the tactile, its the only one that i could get used to. but the slim design and sheer comfort want me want to buy an extra one. they have the white one in tactile, i might bite, i just wish they were cheaper, I paid this same price when i got mine on Amazon.

For anyone who doesn't want to deal with best buy or can't get the 20% by recycling an old keyboard/mouse in store…

You can buy this directly from Logitech at the same sale price and you should get a pop up for 15% off coupon that can be applied. You could get 20% off for orders over $250… the price is close enough without doing any extra work.

Just putting it out there since there is a little work to get the 20% recycle coupon.

I'm not getting any 15% off pop up. The best I'm getting is 10% off. Bummer.

Try that code

Edit.
Just went to Logitech website again and put in a random email. I still get the 15% off pop up banner for signing up for their newsletter

And here's another code
