These are the larger (9 inch) of the two Milwaukee combination plier/stripper tools that they make, they are closer to Linesman pliers because they do not have the needle nose or finer point like the smaller 'electrician multi-tool' that they make. Great tool for a fraction of the competitors price...if you are a Klein, Ideal, Southwire, or Knipex person this is probably not for you, no need to hate! I have the smaller pair and love them!

The Milwaukee 7-in-1 High-Leverage Combination Pliers feature seven core functions for electrical installation. These Milwaukee pliers feature a crimper, wire cutter, wire stripper, loop maker, reamer, and bolt cutter. The wide jaw pliers make grabbing and twisting wire easy, while the crimper provides users with added functionality when working with both insulated and non-insulated terminals. The wire cutter, wire stripper, and loop maker allow users to make quick wire preparation. The built-in reamer allows users to ream ½ in. through 1 in. conduit, while the bolt cutter cuts #6 and #8 bolts. A swing-lock design delivers fast, 1-handed operation, and the high-leverage handles make cutting and crimping easier. The 7-in-1 electrical pliers provide maximum productivity and are perfect for the toughest jobsites.

These are alright if you're working around the house or light duty work. But if you're doing commercial construction, I would just get the cheap Kliens stripper and Klien lineman.
This is an EDC item in my side pouch. Awesome strippers with a convenient crimper. The cutters are soft though and should only be used on cu wire. My buddy used it to cut some steel wires and f'ed up the cutting edge Mad
Must be something wrong with yours. These are the best strippers I've ever used. As an HVAC guy, I use them every day.

Do these suck as wire strippers or is it just me? They are not as nice and easy to use as the cheap smaller strippers. Is it just mine?

My cutters on my first pair went to s### also. Took them to a milwaukee dealer and they ordered me a new pair under warranty.

I use these nearly every day, the strippers are excellent. The pliers are also very handy for positioning wire inside boxes. Great quality tool, tempted to buy a second one at this price.

Left it for a few days in the garage, rusted in Florida's humidity...not ruined by any means, though.

These are really good combination pliers/strippers - a little big, but with nice smooth operation. They look/feel excellent in hand, and work well across the board (gripping, cutting, stripping, crimping). Second only to Knipex 13 72 8 IMO, which are even better when it comes to cutting 12-2 NM-B wiring and up - but they're also quite a bit more expensive.

Why on earth would you choose these for fishing vs a more typical needle nose plier?

It's not just you. The simple stamped ones are far less clunky
