Good prices, the U7k is the sweet spot for price and quality. This is inevitably going to be asked, the U75k is just Costco's version, which undoubtedly is the same as all other versions (but better warranty, which is worth something). The promo is literally worthless to me, but you can always use it to test settings or ... something. They never give good games in these promos, give me AoE or something next time!

The 55" doesn't come with the Allstate 5 year coverage bundled in. That said it's $35 to add since the TV is under $500. I called the warranty support line to confirm prior to ordering.

If you want the package of TV and extended warranty on the 55", Costco is the cheapest between them, Amazon and Best Buy. Amazon's plan is $75 and BB's is $100. All looked comparable for coverage.

What's Costco's return policy?
Not sure if my mom's living room needs 65 or 75.
Not sure if my mom would like a 75 to be central focus in the room.

Her viewing distance is 15' away.

This TV is at a great price point. Fully Array backlit local dimming for great black levels, 120hz, HDMI 2.1, and is Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ ready, and 1000 nits peak brightness. I'm coming from a LG OLED C2 and a Sony X900H (Full Array) and must say after purchasing this Hisense, was blown away with the picture quality. It goes pound for pound with the Sony X90K which is a few hundred dollars more. If you're worried about the longevity and quality of work behind the brand, Costco 3 year warranty should give you peace of mind. This is my personal opinion but damn this TV is really good. Not as good as a EVO panel LG OLED but you won't regret purchasing this for you and your family.

I purchased it with the Allstate to make 5 years of warranty due to concerns about Hisense. It was something like $65 so worth it I think.
I had just recently purchased the U8K deal from BB for $1,298, but added $299 5-year warranty, so if I keep the U75K it works out to almost $800 less (which is crazy). Hopefully it isnt $800 worse than the U8K.

looks like I am going to pick this over R646. R646 major complaint is poor upscaling apart from vrr issues and ghosting and it's a 2021 model, so make sure to get the extended warranty (+80).

poor upscaling is a deal killer as I watch too much youtube that has 1080

So are you going to be able to test the U7K and U8K side by side? I would be very curious to know your thoughts on both of them if possible.

Good viewing angles on the 75" U7K too I presume? I am so close to buying this and now of course it's not available for my area from Costco. It was wasn't available for me the first day the deal went live but then was on Wednesday but I hesitated. Maybe it'll come back and I can grab it. I thought I would add on the Allstate warranty from Costco to make the warranty for a full 5 years just for added piece of mind.

Pretty decent for viewing angles especially at this size. It was tough finding this in a couple stores for me too. Ended up getting it delivered.

Looks like you don't need to do anything special [fool.com] until you open a claim. Probably should save a copy of the receipt; I don't know how long receipts stay online on Costco.com.
Not all Visa cards have extended warranty benefits. Visa Signature cards still do. The old Chase Freedom and Unlimited are Visa signature cards, and have extended warranty. New freedom flex is a MasterCard, not sure if it comes with extended warranty.

No need to register anything now. But save the receipt, warranty documentation from the manufacturer, and credit card statement showing this purchase. All of these will be needed when filing for a claim.
