We went through a few different Graco (still use them) and this Britax and the britax is the best.

I had this one for my son since he was born. So far its a good car seat.
Not super helpful without knowing how old he is/when he was born.

Care to say what makes this the best and the 4 other seats you have owned that you are comparing it to?

I have owned graco extend2fit and recently bought Diono 3QX when I needed 3 in one row. I do use the Britax for the infant snap in until they outgrow that and it was very nice.

Honestly if I was in the market right now, I would get the Diono again since it is $225 which is a steal. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084Q3P...=UTF8&th=1

it's even cheaper on their website for 200 https://store.diono.com/radian-3qx-safeplus/

good call! Looks like there is a promo code for 15% off if you "join the family". If that applies that would be awesome. Sad to think I paid $800 for 3 of these back in March.

Extend2fit is good in concept, but in reality my child wasn't tolerant of rear facing at age 2 and did much better in the car once we front faced. Never needed to use the extend to fit. That being said, I have the extend2fit dlx and got a couple of slimfit ones for the grandparents car for much cheaper and happy with that choice.

Regarding crash testing - they all meet minimum safety standards to be sold on the market.

Used a Doona + for the first year of life and it's expensive but is so worth it. Got to use it a second time with the second kid.
