I personally love LG and Dolby vision, but I refuse to pay more for inferior tech, so I'll try this Samsung out. A lot of people say hdr 10 and dv are not distinguishable.
Also worth notating, this is a gen 2 qd oled panel. Same as the s95c meaning this panel easily outperforms the LG C2 in brightness and colors. I guess the price is lower cause they don't have to pay DV licensing fees.. I wonder how much those are per set?

UPDATE: I CANCELLED MY ORDER!
I went to bestbuy again for the third time in the past 3 days and decided to go with the LG G3. Color accuracy is just better with LG IMO and I don't want to spend hours tinkering and calibrating the Samsung display which may be better, but just isn't dialed in out of the box. Also, I don't think I can live w/out DV... I saw a few comparisons and we are talking about 12 bit color depth vs 10 bit. Their is a difference.
LG G3 wins top TV of the year

Nonetheless, just pick any Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Nvidia, Fire stick. Most are superior, and all will not have app specific issues that every native OS has on one of another.
Until I meet a TV with an OS that is better than any add-on, it will never be part of decision making.
Settings screen annonying to get to. Too many steps just to get to a menu for something even as simple as adjusting brightness.
I imagine if you use a HTPC, it's probably possible to convert DV to HDR10+. Not sure if it's worth the effort, though.
After some time (an hour or so), I refreshed the cart and saw the updated price of $1874.99 with the text "It's your lucky day....."
Also, the Samsung rep provided a price match for 15 days from the delivery date (15th Nov)—and a Samsung warranty plus for 2 years more worth $349, in addition to 1-year manufacture warranty.
