I personally love LG and Dolby vision, but I refuse to pay more for inferior tech, so I'll try this Samsung out. A lot of people say hdr 10 and dv are not distinguishable.

Also worth notating, this is a gen 2 qd oled panel. Same as the s95c meaning this panel easily outperforms the LG C2 in brightness and colors. I guess the price is lower cause they don't have to pay DV licensing fees.. I wonder how much those are per set?

UPDATE: I CANCELLED MY ORDER!
I went to bestbuy again for the third time in the past 3 days and decided to go with the LG G3. Color accuracy is just better with LG IMO and I don't want to spend hours tinkering and calibrating the Samsung display which may be better, but just isn't dialed in out of the box. Also, I don't think I can live w/out DV... I saw a few comparisons and we are talking about 12 bit color depth vs 10 bit. Their is a difference.

Thanks for the heads up! Just pulled the trigger for pickup at Best Buy. Got it for $1874.99 with the 2 year carE+ plan. The 65" LG C3 I purchased a few weeks ago for 1699 is going back! Talk about a sweet deal less than $200 more for a better and bigger panel. I'm stoked!!

Once you finish checking out do you have an option of delivery date, or is it just the date shown in your cart?

I'm going to be traveling for work next week and I'd need a later delivery date. Otherwise I guess I'll just have to hope the deal sticks around until I can order for a delivery date when I'll be home.

Their website is absolutely infuriating. I enrolled in the Military Offer Program a while back, and that program doesn't qualify for this deal. They will only let you enroll in one Program at a time, but there is no way to unenroll from one to join another that I qualify for. Have wasted hours going in loops with customer service. Absolutely maddening.

How did you get the lucky deal and 2 year care plan? From my understanding the lucky deal goes to your mobile app cart but to get the 2 year care plan for free the chat will send you a browser cart link without the lucky deal?

Just create a new account. Use the "." (Period) Gmail trick with an existing Gmail account... or create a new gmail in 5 mins.

That will work initially but it later removes promo when you go to checkout because the Samsung account email must match your ID.me email
