Better resistance from weather for cooking. I used webers for 15 years. Had a few kettles and a wsm. I sold them all after I got my kj. No more worrying about how cold it is and churning through charcoal. It's super efficient and way better sealed. I fill the basket and easily get 3 or 4 grilling sessions out of it. I add a couple pieces of new lump every time but there's always a ton left. I grill that many times a week. For long cooks, I can make a chimney of charcoal last at 200-225 for 12-14 hours. That prevents having to shuffle everything around to refuel on those cooks.

Great deal for everyone who got in from the midwest to the East Coast...LOL

If I were up I would have been *greatly* tempted to grab one of these. I have the KJ Classic I but might have convinced myself to buy the Classic III and list my Classic I for sale...! Phew, good thing I wasn't awake at the time.

I think the only thing I'd actually get and keep would be a Big Joe (missed the $720~ deal on Walmart). If that comes around again, I'll probably get in big trouble.
