That's not how it works you have to return the same one you bought from that place. One time I bought two airtags from best buy and needed to return one when I went there the guy scanned it and said it's not the one attached to your receipt even though it was mew unopened thet didn't took it and needed the same one because the receipt is attached to the serial number at many places for these items.

Thanks for the info...but I don't think it's devices because I currently have 16 Airtags and 4 devices on the Find My app right now. I'm assuming it's 16 Airtags (what they list as "items" under the Find My app).

Keep in mind for those have Discover card, 5% CB on Amazon. Makes it a few dollars difference. Assuming you haven't hit the $75 CB limit mark and won't for the rest Of this month and next.

I actually would've gotten it from Amazon as a result but I'm gonna hit the $75 mark in a week or two so this was better for me

Can I track Airtag with browser on non-Apple device? I have an Apple ID set up on two iPad for my children. But I don't usually have access to the iPads. No other Apple device in my family. Amazon QA gives contradict answers.
