That's not how it works you have to return the same one you bought from that place. One time I bought two airtags from best buy and needed to return one when I went there the guy scanned it and said it's not the one attached to your receipt even though it was mew unopened thet didn't took it and needed the same one because the receipt is attached to the serial number at many places for these items.

Thanks for the info...but I don't think it's devices because I currently have 16 Airtags and 4 devices on the Find My app right now. I'm assuming it's 16 Airtags (what they list as "items" under the Find My app).

Got to my local store 2 minutes before they opened and was first in line. Picked up 2 four packs for $70 each. They were the ONLY two the store had in inventory.

Chatted with Target and asked for price match. They said they don't price match weekly ads. Though their policy states that they price match local store ads.

I told them thank you and that I will spend my money at Staples then.
They came back with a $20 off discount as a one time exception.

$62 after taxes and red card discount. I take it. 😊

For an item to be placed in their weekly ad, you'd think they would get shipments of them ahead of time. For this deal, it seemed like they just sold whatever stock they already had on hand.
