That's not how it works you have to return the same one you bought from that place. One time I bought two airtags from best buy and needed to return one when I went there the guy scanned it and said it's not the one attached to your receipt even though it was mew unopened thet didn't took it and needed the same one because the receipt is attached to the serial number at many places for these items.

Thanks for the info...but I don't think it's devices because I currently have 16 Airtags and 4 devices on the Find My app right now. I'm assuming it's 16 Airtags (what they list as "items" under the Find My app).

Huh good question.

I just checked and AirTags don't show up on Find My on the iCloud website. It only shows Apple devices like Macs, iPads and AirPods.

I guess only the iOS Find My app shows AirTags.

AirTags are only useful to Apple users. It looks like Tile and Chipolo are the best Android options. I know Tile trackers have a really useful ability to ping your phone.

Was able to orddr through Target Chat. They didn't price match butoffered a $10 coupon after I said I would go buy it at Staples.

I went into a Staples store today. Talked with an employee and he said I had to download Staples Connect app in order to receive the discount. I thought I got lucky since they had it in stock. He kept pressuring me to download the app for some reason and to create an account. Now I thought something was fishy, but went through with it since I really wanted the airtags. So I signed up and he said actually, they are sold out lol...but I got Target to price match, so I guess it all worked out in the end, but probably will never shop at Staples again.

Don't buy any right now. Google and Chipolo are releasing an actual AirTag competitor, they're waiting for Apple to add in anti-stalking measures into iOS first. The current Samsung/Chipolo devices will not be compatible and they are tiny fractions the size of the entire Android device network.

I went to the store to buy but the 4-pack is out of stock. The cashier tried to order it online for me to ship home or pickup in store. Let's see if I will get the item.
