The terms say you need to buy the 3 months directly from mint mobile. Doesn't say you can buy from Target or Best Buy. I hope you can but terms say buy from Mint

I checked with a Mint mobile agent and they said there is an issue with their system and the offer is not working right now on their site. She said there is no promo code. The 3 free months should be automatically added to your cart. She suggested trying again in a few hours.

Well, was really thinking about going to the mint mobile site and getting one, but, adding a "recovery fee" that doesn't exist if you buy at target or bestbuy or any other place is a pretty low tactic to bump up the price

A extra charge of $10.50 for me is just silly and shady, if this fee was legit, then no matter where you would buy it, it would also include this charge

Think of it as the equivalent to an airline baggage fee. To paraphrase Mint's 10.1 Terms and Conditions, it's to recover costs of federal regulatory fees. So, NOT an actual federal tax/fee but to pad their bottom line.

Red Pocket now has a flat $12 regulatory recovery fee on annual plans when you purchase from their website.

I think I put my name on a mailing list. However a family member with Mint also received the email. Maybe soon just means end of the month, "Final Hours: Cyber Week Deals Ending Soon."

Just ordered the 5Gb plan and used the cashback website that starts with an "R" and got $10 cashback within 2 hours.....so $47 instead of $57 for me.

they don't want to honor 3 free months. I have ordered from their site. When they gave me the tracking it was showing 3 months of service. I called they looked up my number and told me I should see 3 free months after activation. I ported my number today and activated the service, but no 3 months... Shady company...

Target and BB didn't offer the 3 free months this year. Only sim kits directly from Mint were applicable.

I'd contact their CS. It should show up after you activate the sim. Your confirmation email should be proof of eligibility, assuming you purchased it after the offer rolled out, Nov 12th or 19th.

I have contacted their CSR over the phone. The gave me turn around. I have asked to be transferred to the manger, and she said she will open a ticket and someone from their back office team will reach out to me within 2 days. I also contacted CS person in this thread, but haven't heard back yet. Not a good start with mint mobile to say the least...
Update: I called today to check on the status and they told me that the case has been resolved, though I didn't see free 3 months in my account. They opened a new ticket and I got a text message that $105 were credited to my account (3 months for 15GB plan). So my issue has been resolved. Those that sign up for this service make sure you pay attention to what's going on. Customer service has been pretty good (polite and I got phone answered practically right away). Will see how service stands up. I haven't had problems with making phone calls (not yet) unlike with Boost in dishnetwork service (T-mobile as well).
