I'm going to have to buy 2 though to keep two of my monitors the same height. I already have about a 2 inch lower height difference for my extra monitors on the right (Have another 27 inch in Portrait Mode on the left) so these relatively low height stands (1.7 inch height) should be ideal for me.
A nice bonus is having the option of easily attaching laptops and smartphones to my displays as well. All that crap aside, I'm in for 2; thanks OP.

Yea, it kills the deal
I see there is a hard-wired USB-C cable. Where does that connect to -- some sort of USB-C power adapter? Then the "PD" port on the back -- is that the host connection to the laptop that feeds all the USB and video ports on the dock?

I'm just buying this for the stand and being able to easily charge and have access to USB power ports. Having the ability to connect a laptop or smartphone to a display is a nice but probably rarely used bonus for me.
I'm assuming direct I/O communication is only between a connected laptop via the stand's PD Port correct? Is there a USB out port to connect the stand to conventional PCs to get access to the microsd and USB ports on the front? (That's a lot of "to" )

For others, the captive cable isn't shown in any of the amazon photos, but is shown to be on the bottom in the rosewill site's photos.
