Requires AT&T service and phone payment plan. You may want to include that in your title.

They sent me a full bill where charges say 127$ for service and 700$ for iphone 14.
Verizon - They are kind of slow to update bills. Does it show your service date being cancelled? When was the first day? You can always chat or call them, just get the dates correct before you call. After 3 days they still prorate the service..

Yes. I was surprised TMO was part of this promo anyway. My plan didn't change and no need to switch to VZ or ATT. Also, no activation fee bs.

My only issue was the delay on the GC but it has been solved with a couple phone calls to Wally.

Make sure the CSR confirms and prints the paperwork where it states you are eligible for the promo GC that goes with the phone you pick to finance
No activation fee? How about upgrade fee?

Magenta plans work for this promo. Just ask the rep at Walmart to check if you're due for an upgrade. They have access to your TMO account once you tell them pin etc.. Good luck!
Do you know which devices qualify for the trade in promo at T-mobile?

Just turn it on. It has eSIM and will automatically activate. Do you have AT&T or Verizon? I have an idea on Verizon unlock if you want to try. Basically request another eSIM in the Verizon app and see if it breaks the assigned activation. Then do an eSIM transfer from an existing AT&T/mvno phone. Then request AT&T non customer unlock from their unlock portal.

I received 2 iphone 14 plus which are not verizon activated and says "flex reseller" policy.

- what is the best way to unlock the phones as both are e-sim? i read about at&t, but does it work with esim? If someone can refer to the chat thread, would be helpful.

Do not submit more than 2. You will get lock out.
The reason you get that error because you just pay off the device today. Give the system 24hrs to process the payment before you can submit request to unlock.
It's been two days since I paid off the iPhone 14 to AT&T (paid off Sunday morning) and moved my number to an unlocked phone. I have been submitting exactly one unlock request per day for the new iPhone 14 (so as to not get locked out). However, I am still getting the same error message

"You can't unlock your device until your installment plan is paid off. If you pay off your device as part of your monthly bill, wait until the start of your next bill period to unlock it.
Want to pay off your device early? Make sure your number has been active on the device for at least 60 days. Then, sign into your account to review and pay off your installment plan. Wait 48 hours after you make your final payment to submit a new unlock request."

Any suggestions? Should I continue to wait?
Move the number back to the locked phone - perhaps it needs to be there longer?
Call AT&T?

See my post right above yours. I would try to "break" the assigned eSIM that will be downloaded to the phone. Go to a location with no wireless signal and don't connect to wifi, power on the phone & wait for activation to fail. Then see if you can transfer number (eSIM) from another nearby iPhone, running an AT&T/mvno service. Then request unlock from AT&T portal as non-ATT customer.

If you don't have an AT&T/mvno eSIM, you can sign up for one at h2owireless.com with the $18 plan (was $10 yesterday) and activate it right away. This would be on another unlocked iPhone (that you would do the eSIM transfer with).
You can also try tracfone or straight talk, they have eSIM online but I'm not sure which network you'll get. If it's not AT&T you could be screwed.

Yeah I would put the eSIM back to the locked iPhone, (make a call etc.), leave for a few hours. Make sure it shows the phone as paid off / upgrade elibigle. Then swap back and retry the unlock.

Does this sound right? Do I need to transfer esim back to the unlocked phone before requesting unlock ?

No restocking fee just has to be in like new condition with all accessories. 14 days after receipt is the deadline.

Just spoke to customer service agent. Since I transferred sim to iPhone yesterday , it locks sim transfer from IPhone back to Android for 72 hours. He said iPhone to iPhone does not get locked as they are done from phone to phone. So if I want to transfer back before Thursday I probably have to go to store again.

I tried to ask if IMEI was in database and told him about the not in database error. He can only see error as with phone attached to line so he cannot see not in database error but he says phone looks like its in database

Dont have time to go to store today but maybe will do one more transfer and try one more time to unlock. Then not sure if it is worth it to just sell locked or trade in or try and return if it fails.

yes correct. I would see if you can "break" the new iPhone initial activation first. Make sure no cell service and stay off wifi. You need it to prompt you for an eSIM to activate.

Check in the Verizon app if you can re-issue an eSIM for your new iPhone. That could possibly break the one assigned to the iPhone for initial activation.

Do you know what is Tmobile's unlock policy on these phones? I current have a one line $20 unlimited talk/text plan for with Tmobile, but also have a Tmobile MVNO service with Ultra Mobile. Wondering if a Tmobile phone can be use with my Tmobile MVNO service right away even if it is locked for 60 days.
TMO will unlock after you pay off the finance instalments and wait 40 days after that, from what the CSR told me at Walmart. Not sure about the MVNO.
