I had 2 of these and they both started leaking. I threw them away.

This broke after less than 5 times of use. Do yourself a favor and don't get a Bissell.

I've owned one and used it at least once a day (elderly cat) and it smells but has held up very well. I dropped out and broke the retaining clip for the hose but from my own experience if you take care of this it works pretty well.

Is this a good option to clean car upholstery? Any tips or things to avoid?

Maybe there is something I don't know about carpet cleaning but I own one of these for my bed and breakfast-we get a lot of coffee stains. It is a little bit of a pain to empty it and it seems that you can never fully empty it out either. It is also plugged in.
I have a cordless shop vac that has a wet vac filter and I use my same sheet cleaning cleaners and a spray bottle of water for stains with a dish brush and it feels easier to me. One less thing to keep in the closet. Just one opinion, but thought I would share.

My wife bought one of these on prime day. I would say to get the version that has a heating component for the water. They have it at Costco for 90, and I believe it's the "premier" model. Unless you have to do a lot of spot cleaning, I wouldn't suggest these wet vacs. They're easy to use, but need a decent amount of elbow grease to get results you'd want. Nonetheless, I still use it to show the wife that it isn't completely unusable.

I just picked up a Shark stainstriker before Black Friday for $99 on Amazon. I have had a Shark vacuum and steam mop for a few years and used it more often than this Bissell stain cleaner, yet it still going strong. My Bissell crapped out just a few use right after the warranty. Also, sharks customer service and warranty is better. I think 3 years if I'm not mistaken.

This is a great product if used right.. needs hot water with the right formula mixed in.. also clean after every use or it will stink. You just have to remember to use fresh hot water each time.

I know cleaning the unit takes some time but if done after each clean it's pretty straight forward.

Have this + the bissell upright between dog and kids use the two to clean up carpet pretty nicely.

What's the difference between this (3369) and the 1400B on Amazon? https://a.co/d/eJJB2MA

The first thing I can tell about the difference is the model number. I didn't look further /s.
