No idea on "normal price", but people generally consider 1$ or less per lb to be a decent deal. I got the colored version of these about a year ago from walmart and they came in perfect condition. No defects on any of them. Been using them every day with no issues. Granted, I am not throwing them around and dropping them besides lightly on deadlifts but they are holding up perfect.
This is the design you want btw, with the rounded hubs. There is another similar set sold by walmart sometimes under the exact same name with flush steel hubs that is way worse quality.

great deal. but the smell on mine hasnt gone after buying them in july. I left them in a sunny spot a couple of days(inside though as I dont have a garage/yard), washed them in the tub, scrubbed them better than I scrub myself. alas the recycled rubber smell still remains.

Picked up the 260lb set. Already had some rogue colored ones and wanted to keep my weights the same but the $/lb was too good to pass up. I don't drop my rogues with the same amount of frequency as I do at the gym and they've held up with the occasional drop from 6-8ft after 3 years. Hopefully these do the same.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully the credit was worth it!

Another pair of 35s and 15s arrived today so that makes a full EXTRA set of 260lbs shipped to me for $200. That comes to .40 per lb but I don't need 520lb of weights at this point! Planning to buy a couple of extra bars so at least I'll save some time not needing to swap plates and just store them on bars.
