Shouldn't be too difficult for flight and hotel 🤣
For example, I'm looking at The 7 Hotel in Lisbon November 26-28--2 days.
The CapitalOne price is $195.95 / 19,595 Miles
The price on Agoda is $167.24.
This is nearly a $30 price difference (almost 20% more) on the same room.
These differences need to be included in any price calculations and none of the ones I've seen are doing that.
Also, I can book Cebu Pacific on the VentureX page, but I cannot book baggage. Purchasing baggage later costs more. So again, the difference is substantial. And booking flights on travel portals is a risky proposition to begin with. If anything goes wrong with the flight, in most cases you'll have to get CapitalOne to fix it for you, because the airline won't touch their reservation (American Airlines is an exception, I believe.)
Also perhaps you meant the Venture X not the Venture- since the regular Venture also doesn't have Priority Pass unlimited uses.
But even on the Venture X they made the PP benefit worse end of last year- it no longer includes the $28/$56 restaurant credits at airport restaurants.... and the $300 travel credit is now significantly more restrictive (requires booking through their portal- while the CSR $300 travel credit works with nearly everything).
Don't get me wrong, the Venture X is a nice card to ALSO have since, until they cripple it further, the annual fee is pretty easy to break even on (though not quite as easy as before they restricted the $300 credit)... but if you can only have ONE the CSR is going to be the better card for people who travel significantly.
The expensive travel card to dump since the pandemic is the Amex Plat- which is now a garbage coupon book for $695, has the same crippled PP as Venture X, and doesn't even allow guests at Centurion lounges anymore.

Assuming you have enough organic spend to support churning through cards fairly often, you'd start with the various chase ink business cards-- since those don't add to your 5/24 total at all (but you do need to be under 5/24 to open one).
There's some 90k/100k signups right now going away soon IIRC.
On the personal side you can only get ONE sapphire card now... as to which to get depends on what offer is out there... if you travel much and can use the credits the CSR is the better card for its fee, though CSP often has a better signup bonus.
At that point you'd need to then decide what ELSE you want to use 5/24 slots between the lower-bonus UR cards or the various hotel and other chase cards but burn through the big bonuses first.
