I am a USAF veteran, I registered with the AAFES site last night to confirm they would recognize my eligibility. The next day they emailed me a "welcome" coupon for 10% off sitewide as a thanks for signing up (max $100 discount).
So, if you combine this sale price of $479, no tax and then 10% off, you could actually get this PS5 bundle shipped for $431.10! Looks like a good deal to me for fellow vets and their families!
@Rivalry What documents did you have to add it recognize the eligibility? Is it DD-214 ?
The NON-slim version is now available at BJs for the same price.
The downside is that it's the NON-slim and you have to pay tax, but I think that's the best current deal if you aren't a vet or don't know one that can get this one for you.
With that said, some people prefer the older version because the disc drive doesn't need online connectivity to be activated. Here's the link if interested: https://slickdeals.net/f/17098855-ps5-spiderman-2-bundle-479-99-at-bjs-wholesale-club?v=1&src=SiteSearch

The Dell deal is better if you have either of the Amex offers, or even without it just with 15% cash back.
If you bought this bundle and am waiting to open it on Christmas morning I would encourage you to read a bit further. So I took my console out of the shipping box so I could get a jump on system updates and downloads. I don't want to deal with all of that stuff on Christmas morning when the kiddos are ready to enjoy this gift. As I opened the Sony box I noticed the clear seal had already been broken. I powered up the console and everything has been working great so I didn't think much of it. I have a few games on physical media purchased so I got them installed and the updates are done for Christmas morning.
As I'm packing everything back in the box to be gift wrapped, I'm thinking to myself why was the seal broken. Well, I'm missing my digital code for Spiderman 2. I'm working on getting it resolved with the CGX Customer Support team and will update the group once I have a resolution. Check your orders!!!

Sorry for late response, unsure if this specific deal is ongoing. I signed up through ID.me which doesn't require uploading any document. You just have to give some personal info such as name, DOB, SSN, etc and then a date range of whenever you were on active duty. It verified my information instantly - very impressed with how easy it was!
Wow interesting comments here and I probably be one along side Lol. I think it's a good deal but not a great deal.to me I have gained a lot and I have lost a lot, and so when I see on here PlayStation 5 for 499.00 then comes yours,479.00 ok i save from that deal 19 dollars.which for some people it's ok. Right. But it's a ok Deal brother.God bless you and everyone.....
