I called Xfinity Mobile Customer Service again and got the same answer. The tech support guy checked with his supervisor and another colleague to confirm if switching between Xfinity Mobile Mobile numbers will lose device credits.

I got the info that return window is 14 days after delivery. Looks like I will have to return it. not sure if I even want to try chat now. Looks risky to switch phones. (Again, when it was physical SIMs, I had phones swapped multiple times between Xfinity lines)

Uh oh, I just checked my iPhone 13 from Xfinity mobile and there's no SIM card in the SIM tray slot. Sounds like I may have to return these iPhone 13s to Xfinity mobile if I can't swap in my sim

IPhone 13 is the last iPhone with physical SIM card tray slot. I ordered iPhone 13 for $130 after $500 off however it arrived without a physical SIM card in it so I don't think I'll be able to swap my line to it and we'll have to return these iPhones to Xfinity mobile

Does anyone know what will happen if I put my SIM card in this new iPhone 13 from Xfinity mobile? I'm hoping I don't have to return these iPhone 13s to Xfinity mobile but only if I can put my SIM card in from an older iPhone I have on a different Xfinity mobile number without losing my $500 bonus of course

So my black iPhone 13 came with a SIM card but my blue one did not. Packing order slip confirms the black one came with the SIM card and the blue one did not. I wonder if I can go to Xfinity Mobile store and trade the blue one for a second black one?

Thanks for the info. Sounds like ordering even iPhone 13 won't do the purpose most people are looking for.

If you have physical SIMs, it should let you swap between any other Xfinity phones. At least that used to be the case. I have done it with iPhone 13 minis when it was released. Don't know if anything changed with Xfinity with physical SIM swaps though.

The credits didnt show up before porting was completed, they now show up. And there is no difference in the portal between the line I turned the phone on and the line I haven't turned on so far...
IDK - haven't seen this before, so can't say. You could experiment by not "activating" and seeing what happens; or play safe, activate the line and keep it in a drawer.

When I ordered iPhone 13 mini in the past, it came with physical SIM. After activating that number using the SIM came with it, I replaced the SIM with old number SIM card which was on a iPhone SE Xfinity. Still using it. There was no issues with device credits.

I edited my post above. I meant to ask if you had swapped to esim phone before,not physical SIM phone. Anyways I suspect for me I require a phone with a physical SIM card to be included with my purchase

I haven't swapped numbers between phones which uses eSIM yet. If Xfinity Mobile CS said it won't affect device credits, I would have done it today.
