Curious as to which 100% manufactured and built in America device you are posting from.
Why wouldn't you just buy from Costco for 50 bucks more and have better coverage, not to mention have an unbeatable return policy? My last Wi-Fi set up from Costco crapped out recently after just under two years of ownership, and I returned it with no issues and bought a three pack tplink done deal
I just migrated my house to a new WiFi 6e network with the tp-link Axe7800. When I created the network, I kept my existing network names and WiFi password. When I turned off the previous router and turned this one on, all of my devices have found the network with no issues. I have 40 clients connected from various IOT devices and accessories. Hope this helps 😄

Does it make sense to go with that high of throughput without also going for WiFi 7?

Debating to get the XE-75-2 pack here (updated price 199.99) or buy 3 pack XE-75 from Costco for 269 on Monday. For a two level colonial, is 2 Pack enough ? Now need good Wifi at garage too due to car.

I'm gonna get the 2 pack. I have a basement + main floor + 2nd floor. The primary unit will be on the top floor, and the 2nd unit will be in the basement connected via ethernet backhaul. Should be enough for me.

Too late. I ordered from Amazon. Costco is 70 dollars more for third one. My current old Tp link router is going strong after 5 years. Fingers crossed

Is it weird that I don't trust Companies HQ'd in mainland China with my networking equipment?

Where did you see the Costco being advertised? It's not in the mailer?

All major companies manufacturing in China closely review the product they receive to make sure the hardware is exactly as engineered. They also write their own software on top of that hardware.

Mainland China-based companies have no such hardware or software review independent from the dictates of the Chinese Communist Party.

It's no different from the Huawei 5G ban throughout Europe and the US. https://www.reuters.com/technolog...023-09-28/

I also didn't say anything about "Made in America." Taiwanese, Japanese, Korean, all great. Don't be glib.

Dud, you going half way on this. Get one for every floor and u will be high speed the whole house. The basement with all the concretes and wall definitely need one.

I recently ordered the X55 mesh system and I'm returning it. Beware these units and other deco units have an auto sensing port issue. They tout it as a feature where the WAN port is auto sensed and will make the others LAN. However, if your internet connection cuts out momentarily, there's a high chance the WAN port will switch to LAN. You will need to unplug the Ethernet cable from this port (and maybe plug in to a different port) to get the router to recognize it needs to switch the port back to WAN. There is no option to manually assign the ports to either WAN or LAN. I struggled for awhile today getting my internet back up until I decided to unplug and switch ports. The "feature" is unacceptable. Google tp link deco auto sensing port issue. You'll find a long thread that is about 3 years old and they still haven't completely fixed this issue. Thankfully I can still send my units back and switch to Asus which is what I should have gone with from the start. Also, it's a major security risk that TP link requires you to make an account before you can login to the router. Makes me wonder where my info gets sent. Do your research.
