Just a reminder that TP-Link is most likely going to get banned in America. They have always been a joke when it comes to firmware updates. They update for a year then abandon their products. Looks like agencies are starting to look into the threat that they pose, especially with their ties to China... almost like they are making U.S. router products insecure on purpose:

I bought this router new a while back. I hate it. Range isn't great, send to put items to sleep in a way that they struggle to reconnect. My cameras hate the thing and drop regularly.

Everyone complains about the range, but that's because it's such new technology, they don't know how to setup correctly. YOU MUST ENABLE MLO MODE to get good range. You can only enable on the pc via web browser, it not possible to do in the app. Then your access point name changes to yourroutername_ MLO, connect all your devices to that new access point name.

I bought this a few days ago new. So far no complaints with range. Newer faster bands always have less range but you can add a mesh points really easy. MLO has me up to a gig on wifi

Even if they get banned, existing routers will still function.
