Both routers look pretty good to me. I think most folks would be happy with either. Good luck, you have a difficult choice to make between two compelling options!
I am having a specific problem that many hours of trouble shooting cannot resolve: intermittently, only 2 devices can connect to each band. Don't suggest a setting or something I'm doing wrong - it has been checked. And most of the time everything is fine. A router reset resolves this. I do not think this is common, don't let it prevent you from the purchase - every piece of electronics can have a bad unit.
Other points: router CPU becomes overwhelmed accessing files from the USB drive. You will top out at 125MB/s when only traffic is from USB; WAN speeds will drop when using USB (to equlivant of 125MB/s combined). Not a problem for many, but this isn't a replacement for a LAN NAS.
If you unplug USB to transfer files via PC, it will be a nightmare to get the router to detect it again (so it is a plug in and leave, swap files via SMB). Again probably doesn't impact you.
The 6ghz signal is notably weaker than ISP provided router: 15' away, but through a wall: 3 out of 5 bars, sometimes has "connection problem). 5ghz is weaker than ISP, but not a problem. Again don't tell me I'm doing something wrong here - detecting signal strength isn't rocket science.
I'm happy with it, and would keep, if not for the first problem I described. All those 2.5g ports, + wifi 7 -- crazy deal!
