I have the 100 ft kit but did a lot of research beforehand. The power supply included in the kits will only allow for the max of 150 feet. If you attempt to chain additional strings, the lights will flicker or not even light up from what I've read. Solution is to buy multiple kits and plug them into separate outlets and use the app to sync the different kits so they behave as one.

I own 30 different Govee products and I love them all and I love the company and their customer service is second to none. Govee hosts their own products on Amazon and works with Amazon. That's why the prices are the same but they are not always exactly the same. If you plan on buying more Govee products in the future, or you think you might, you won't get rewards points buying on Amazon but you will from their website FYI

Curious on the install. If you are placing these under your soffit where are they being plugged into for power especially if you need a few sets ?

That looks amazing! Can you post a pic or further explain what you attached them to and how far from the house/angle they are? Love the look with the way you mounted them!

Yes, I have a 100' and a 150'. You can sync multiple controllers in the Govee app
How did you run the areas circled?

I like the Govee products and have a few but the Eufy version have the added benefit of doing warm white so I'm not sure which ones to go for.

Edit:I just saw the Eufy is on sale for the same price too.

What's the best way to install these light? Have them but haven't found a good strategy to tackle the project. Or should i look into hiring somone?
I found it to be pretty easy. I had an existing outlet in my attic, so I put the controller there, and had just enough wire to reach. I drilled a 1 inch hole in the eaves to pass the wire from the attic to the eaves, and sealed with a grommet Then I ran the lights across the soffit with the included 3m adhesive on each one.

Afterwards, I bought a 300 pack of screw in clips from amazon to tidy up the wires in between each LED emitter. This reduces the weight on the adhesive for each light. If I fin the adhesive is failing over time, I can easily put a screw in clip on each side of each LED.

Overall it was pretty quick. I had the lights up and running in about 3 or 4 hours, and then had them all screwed down and tidyed up in a few more.

I know of a few people who asked but has anyone installed these with gutters? I'd rather not screw holes into my gutters but I know adhesive does last in Texas summers and the random 1 winter freeze we always have.

EDIT: Nevermind.

Anyone know how these would look if I were to place them upwards? I have a flat roof on my Commerical property and would like to have them point upwards since I do not have room to place them under a soffit.

Can they do passable warm white?
Yeah. The version in this deal can do a decent warm white. Still a great deal at $199/$299

Heres the newer RGBICWW version if you really need them. They were just released so the cost is significantly more. They're also cuttable and extendable.

Also curious how you navigated the gaps that previous responder mentioned... I have one dead center of my split level house from one lower level gutter to the upper level. Your setup looks professional!

I have aluminum gutters or eaves where I want to install these. Screwing holes is not an option into those things, so I guess I can only do the adhesive. The adhesive comes off in a few months per a few posts here so I guess I am out of luck and cannot buy these.
I use e6000 glue on clips I attached to aluminum siding. Been holding for years and I live in the Northeast Wink

I had my son create a 3 inch x 3 inch jig out of lego to make sure each light was the same distance from the house (this is super important as you want the cone effect to be uniform). I attached each light to the soffit under the eaves, first with the 3M adhesive and then a single mounting bracket that I linked in an earlier post. I also had to cut and splice in 4 locations to better fit my roofline. I can provide lots more detail if needed =)
