I have the 100 ft kit but did a lot of research beforehand. The power supply included in the kits will only allow for the max of 150 feet. If you attempt to chain additional strings, the lights will flicker or not even light up from what I've read. Solution is to buy multiple kits and plug them into separate outlets and use the app to sync the different kits so they behave as one.

I own 30 different Govee products and I love them all and I love the company and their customer service is second to none. Govee hosts their own products on Amazon and works with Amazon. That's why the prices are the same but they are not always exactly the same. If you plan on buying more Govee products in the future, or you think you might, you won't get rewards points buying on Amazon but you will from their website FYI

How did you run the areas circled?
1 is the end of my 100' run so there is nothing there
2 and 3 I created a splice using some 18 gauge three strand wire, some heat shrink butt connectors, and a heat gun. I can provide more details on this if needed

Looks good! How many sets did you use on your setup? 100pk of 150pk?

Is there an option to only turn on select parts of the lighting string? For example, the just the lights in front of garage? Thanks.

those would be annoying to me since you'd have to have them put up before you installed the lights since they go underneath the cable. with the ones i purchased, they screw in to the side of the lights and can do them afterwards

I used a 100' and a 150' but probably only needed two of the 100' packs. You have complete control of the lights through the app. Can turn on just the lights you want down to the individual light

I bound this 2 weeks back for 450$ and love it. Only caution is that install with extra clamps. Do not trust the adhesive (unlike advertised) to hold more than 2 hours Smilie .
Stupid Amazon not doing price adjustment; so doing return and repurchase now.

I had my son create a 3 inch x 3 inch jig out of lego to make sure each light was the same distance from the house (this is super important as you want the cone effect to be uniform). I attached each light to the soffit under the eaves, first with the 3M adhesive and then a single mounting bracket that I linked in an earlier post. I also had to cut and splice in 4 locations to better fit my roofline. I can provide lots more detail if needed =)
Thank you for confirming cut and splice! Super helpful. Also the 3 inch jig suggestion!

In for 1. I haven't had outdoor lights since the failed Xmas lights of 2000. Wife would appreciate these but I won't install them until spring

great way to identify your house as the one containing the most scammable residents on the block, and negatively impact local wildlife while you're at it.
Always one moron out there....

Yes, I have a 100' and a 150'. You can sync multiple controllers in the Govee app
How do you link the bottom one and top one? Thanks. Your installation looks fabulous!

Also curious how you navigated the gaps that previous responder mentioned... I have one dead center of my split level house from one lower level gutter to the upper level. Your setup looks professional!
I think you may have confused another user, mine was actually much simpler of an install. I have two straight runs about 45 ft each, so the lights were a perfect fit, and I simply used the 12 ft unlit extension between the two runs. I assume the other user had to run lit runs between the different roof segments, and then just programmed them to remain unlit. Otherwise it would require splicing wires and voiding the warranty. Unfortunately last I checked, govee doesnt sell the unlit extensions separately.

I heard that Eufy can integrate with your Eufy cam and make welcome light when visitors show up. Not sure of how that works
