I have the 100 ft kit but did a lot of research beforehand. The power supply included in the kits will only allow for the max of 150 feet. If you attempt to chain additional strings, the lights will flicker or not even light up from what I've read. Solution is to buy multiple kits and plug them into separate outlets and use the app to sync the different kits so they behave as one.

I own 30 different Govee products and I love them all and I love the company and their customer service is second to none. Govee hosts their own products on Amazon and works with Amazon. That's why the prices are the same but they are not always exactly the same. If you plan on buying more Govee products in the future, or you think you might, you won't get rewards points buying on Amazon but you will from their website FYI

great way to identify your house as the one containing the most scammable residents on the block, and negatively impact local wildlife while you're at it.

For folks considering the "Pro" version, they do a proper warm white... But come at the disadvantage of having fewer lights per length. Consequently, the 'cones' of light overlap a fair bit less than the regular ones where they're more seamless in action.

The warm white on these is passable but not perfect like ones that have proper RGBICWW ICs, and you can tell that there is some color mixing going on if you stand up closer to the lights at certain angles.

I don't use them for warm white light, I got these for lighting the house up with patterns on holidays, to show my support for local sports teams with their colors and such... And these are wonderful for the price!

2 x 150 ft strings starting at / plugged in at one point and going in opposite directions and they're just amazing. You can group them in the app (same group control though depends on you being in Bluetooth range), and in the different click to run automations you can set them up to turn on and do different actions simultaneously via wifi (and thus remotely).

This guy had a great comparison of the many options talked about in this thread (eufy as well) and more:

Pretty lame excuse. If you wanted them badly enough you'd figure it out.
Nothing to figure out...I just want to do it once and do it right and forget it.

The 3m adhesive failed pretty fast for me. After 3 weeks 50% failed.

My suggestion is get extra clips. And at a minimum install a clip every other light.

I had 4 or 5 fail overnight and could never get the wire tight again.

I bought these as extra clips and they worked well

The maximum amount for one power supply is 150 ft. Also how with is hang on a fence? It needs to have an overhang somewhere to adhere to to give it that downward effect
Depends on the fence, lots of privacy fences have a cap on top.

How would these look if I put them on the edge of a porch overhang, facing down, where there is no nearby wall for the light cones to reflect off of?
Basically creates a break where your porch is essentially just illuminated in the colors you choose

Curious on the install. If you are placing these under your soffit where are they being plugged into for power especially if you need a few sets ?
I run power out from my attic through the soffit. Most attics will have at minimum a bare bulb for illumination. Get yourself an adapter for that will give you a couple of outlets.

no warm white on these? that's crazy. Was going to buy these for my backyard but warm white would be my default. and if these can't do that it's a pass.

A have two gables that only have 1" soffits to mount these lights to. Anyone know how these look so close to the wall?

There will be more shadow and a triangle effect but shouldn't be a big deal. Saw a YouTube video of a guy mounting it right to trim on the wall and still looked good imo
