    T7 is way better.

    I have both and the Crucial slows down a lot which larger files or larger amounts of data transfers... Like sppeds around or below 100MB/s... Only getting close to advertised speeds for small files and small total data transfers.

    T7 stays fast all the time.

    I have the 2TB and 4TB versions of this. They have been reliable over 18 months. No super fast, but fast enough for my purposes: storing web development project files.

    I have an MX500 2tb in my PS4 Pro that I bought from Microcenter nearly a year ago.

    I can confirm that it is a MASSIVE improvement in load times, to the point where I compared it to videos of games running on PS5 and the MX500 matched (Street Fighter V, Marvel's Spider-Man, Gran Turismo Sport) and, sometimes, outpaced the PS5's internal drive by a couple seconds or more (Tekken 7, SoulCalibur VI, Samurai Shodown).

    Just for fun, I just fired up Samurai Shodown and compared it to this youtube video [youtube.com]. In the video, the first match took roughly 14.5 seconds of loading to start. On my PS4 Pro, it took 11.5.

    Thanks op...ordered from bhphoto as they are a quality firm and will never buy from the AI powered best buy with their robot managers who can't deviate from Corp. Policy no matter the circumstance. This is the second sale today that best buy missed as I just ordered a lenovo yoga laptop directly from lenovo instead of buying from best buy.
