Its super wide, and for certain types of games might be too much, plus to need a strong gig to really reach limits of display. I am torn btw this one and G9 as well. Also, G9 gets brighter so if your in a area with lots of light might be better. Although. I seen reviews where G8 is gorgeous in dimly lit areas. Too many options lol

I went to Micro Center to take a look at both. G9 looks great but its massive. Not many games support that aspect ratio. G8 is pretty good and decent size.
