A good rep gave extra discount

These airpods some how falling off so wasily from my ecars unless i am not doing it right

I think they're talking about price matching with Walmart using their lightning version that is selling for $169. A bunch of people on that thread are saying they're price matching with Target and because the name of the item and look of the item are very similar some reps aren't catching the difference and doing the price match for $169 on the USB-C model from Target. Then I'm assuming the rep gave them dome extra discount for some reason since they said "good rep gave extra discount"...so, YMMV.

You can return them to Apple for free if it's within three years. I took mine in and was outside the three year window by two month Frown. And that is without AppleCare.

I was able to chat with target rep and get 30$ discount so it matches with Walmart pricing of lightning. Though they said they cannot do price match they can give discounts so I asked for it and they gave 30$. YMMV

These are great, I was skeptical but Spatial Audio is fantastic, especially if you have an AppleTV more apps support it than on the iPhone. Plus Infuse and multi channel audio is fantastic movie watching at night!

How Apple can claim this a premium sound device, when it can only do AAC or SBC bluetooth? It has no lossless audio codec support at all. It maxes out at 16-bit 48 khz, 256kb/s. AAC is old, has bad noise compression, and terrible battery performance. Android could do over 350 kb/s with Apt since 14 years ago! They've had near lossless audio codecs like AptxHD at 576 kb/s since 2016, and can now do aptx lossless at 1.2Mbps/96Khz/24-bit on the latest Snapdragon. Sony has LDAC 990kbps/24-bit/96kHz.
