Been using the Vudu disc to digital transfer to build up my streaming library. Program excludes all Disney/Fox/and by proxy their sub labels. As well as most box sets. You can snag a HDX digital streaming copy (Close/Equal to Blu Ray) copy of a disc you own or "it's barcode" in some cases. It's more of a dumpster hunt to find tittles that work to transfer. However, you can save time by checking Reddit for a thread for working tittles. Or google for a skeezy website that has similar info. $2 per for a Blu Ray to HDX digital. $5 to snag a DVD to HDX. 4K UHD is excluded. Again, it's a Dumpster bin hunt, but not to shabby if you, a friend, the library or some skeezy website has a bar code that will get you a digital Blu/HDX copy of a physical Blu for $2.
I dove deep in this dumpster. Snagged "Battle Royal", "City of Lost Children", "Paddington2", "Monty Python and Now For Something Completely Different" and "Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex" HDX copies to my Vudu library for $2 per.
Totally separate: VUDU will run sales on random 4K digital titles all the time for $5. Point is: These discounted VUDU gift cards will get you some bang for your buck if you keep your expectations low.

Sadly, Costco doesn't carry the VUDU cards anymore.

Projects like this really give my OCD something to do.
Love seeing the collection grow and sorting them all into Vudu lists.
It's not like I'm ever going to watch most of the movies.
It's still possible on their new android app, just can't have any gift cards associated to the account at purchase
