I just hooked it up to my overhead lights by the rearview mirror. There are others that have you hook it up via a fuse adapter. Those can be seen in the suggested section of that page.
Does this eliminate the need for the cig lighter cable? I don't care about it being on since it's in a garage at night, but I don't want a cable going into the cig lighter.
