Only downside I see is the cost of replacement toner is CRAZY HIGH for these 067 style printers. Brother printers more or less print at same quality and replacement toners is available for much less for not that much more.

Price on this is good, but those toner replacement costs are hard to swallow.
Not sure directly, but I'd guess the Brother HL-L3230CDW is a pretty close competitor. They were on sale recently but seem like they are back to regular price around $249 currently. The replacement toner sellers are a dime a dozen around $40-$70 for the entire set. This Canon's replacement toners are $120-$180. Just seems like such a big difference, and literally the cost of the printer new for a replacement set of toner just doesn't line up with me.

Maybe I'm seeing it different? Missing something? People jump on these Canon's and while I bet they are nice, I can't see spending that much on replacement toner cartridges for average color/photo print quality at best coming from a Laser setup. My old B+W Brother cartridges cost like $15-$25 and prints all day and night.
Same price on Dell's website for those that need to blow through their Amex platty $200 credit.

This was a great deal for $199.99 back in August and is an even better deal now.

I recommend updating the listing to confirm the duplex printing feature.

Good luck!

I need one for my office, which Brother model would be a good equivalent? TIA!

I normally buy a new one on sale rather than buy toners replacement.

I'm seeing reputable aftermarket toner sets for just over $100 for the 1250 page ones. Most home users will take a few years to blow through that.

Didn't realize these were so large, 22" deep is wild. Time to research some smaller form factors (if that's even a thing with laser printers?)

Look again, cheapest on Amazon I see is $120 with almost no reviews. The most popular of the sets are closer to $160-$180. Literally the cost of this printer.

Only set I see for under $100 is on a website that looks reputable enough to order from I suppose.

Do aftermarket toners typically catch up and drop in price as they are mass produced over time? That's the only hope that they get to a point where they too sell around $60+/- for a set, like the Brother printers toner. Otherwise, a printer that requires replacement toner over $100 for a set just isn't all that slick.

Amex platinum business card holders get $400/year rebate from dell. $200 per 6 months. You order on your business platinum and the next day they refund up to $200 of your purchase price (tax and shipping included). It's effectively $200 of free shiz.

Thank you for the info and I will put it on my watch list. I am not in any rush so I have time to look for one that goes on sale. I feel the same way when it comes to replacement toner. I used to buy a refurb Dell color laser print for the same model that I owned for the full cartridges and it's cheaper than buying the set of toners plus I get parts for future replacement.

Something to keep in mind is that a new printer doesn't come with the same toner cartridge as a replacement cartridge. The printer comes with a starter to get you going but it goes fast. It doesn't do as many pages as a replacement one you'd buy.
