I know it's not a pro extreme, but anyway I would not trust my info.

If you love your data, don't buy Sandisk.

I returned two of these personally after they both fail and the second time actually lost forever important data FrownFrown I'll never ever buy SanDisk and I'll speak up EVERY time I see a chance.

This all after they already knew there was a problem and did nothing. And still they do nothing Frown

Sandisk/WD released new firmware recently to try to fix the issue with the 2TB and 4TB drives failing. Issue is it took months for them to do it and it's unclear if it actually fixes the issue or just slows down transfer speeds. All new drives from them say "updated firmware". Biggest issue is these "Go" drives are made for Costco under the cheaper Go brand even though they seem to be the same extreme drives with a different enclosure, which means these will have the same data failure issue but probably take even longer for them to issue a fix.

Back up anything you put on these if you buy them. Search the forums for all the horror stories of people losing all their data using these this year.

Not really. I had failure as well and lost all data. Luckily I had backup. They ended up replacing my SSD.
