As always, for anyone getting into the EGO product line....anytime time you need a tool, buy the combo version that comes with the battery. You never want to try to buy a battery alone...they are ridiculously expensive and never go on sale. Especially true if you buy a mower or snow blower that needs a large capacity battery to get the job done. But even for the smaller tools, you will want multiple batteries because capacity = run time not the power output. They are all the same power. So, you can use a small (2.5) battery to keep your tool nice and light and have another one on the charger ready to go.... Always get batteries with tools for EGO,
Also, the EGO tools are great. The battery thing is my one issue.
