That link was kind of a useless editorial on this product but nonetheless thanks for sharing. They point to a lot of good reviews they deem as non compromised and conclude that you should just spend more to get a better tire…. I found that kind of perplexing. The main complaint from some reviews is tire noise.

Keep in mind running shoes don't have minimum safety requirements by law like tires.

Tires always feel like an improvement since you're usually replacing a worn tire.

I have these on a 2015 Toyota Sienna. So far they have been just fine. No issues.

They ride smoothly and quietly.

They have thousands of good reviews.

I would recommend.

New tires should be free because we have already paid yearly license tab. The government should pay for our tires.

Try a different Walmart store. On my online order 2 out of 4tires were shipped🤬. I had to call Walmart customer service to cancel the order. Placed another online order for pick up at a different store a day later for same tires All 4 shipped this time

I'm planning to go to the store early. Supposed to have them installed. Looks like a confusing email. Says 5 items unavailable but order shows 3 tires still available and one not. If I can get one across town I'll take it with me for them to install at my reserved time. Such a PITA. If this doesn't work out, to Costco I go and never look back to Walmart. Not worth the hassle.

Bought these and got them installed yesterday. Said it was "prepaid" when I showed up at the store. Got a text msg later in the day that my bank blocked the charge lol. Basically stole 4 tires and installation. Not sure what's going to happen at this point.

Nice tires tho. Beat the heck out of my old Firestone FR710's.

Is this a yearly deal? Don't need tires now, but will be looking next year.

Had them installed yesterday on my wife's SUV. Very nice ride. Low noise. Don't see anything wrong with these and Walmart says they are covered for road hazard, lifetime rotation and balancing, flat repair, etc. I was very pleased with this purchase and experience and saved a ton. FYI if you're a Walmart+ member, you get the upgraded install package for the price of the basic package. Nice little extra benefit.

So are these any good? I hear mixed reviews from Goodyear and the usual "they're good for one year." 😂
Exactly, good for the first year, and broken for second year

Yea they ran the Outlast, Reliant, and a Copper truck tire last year and this year again.

So they should do some sale again this time next year as well.

According to that article these were the 1:1 update for the "VIVA" tires, which I know GY sold *millions* of through Walmart. I'd say they're probably a safer bet for a daily driver than cheap no-name imports. Somehow it seems the people with the highest expectations always get these types of bargain tires for their lexus/mercedes/whatever and expect them to be better than the michelins/pirellis they replaced.

note: Walmart isn't the best when it comes to checking speed ratings and load index against OE tires when installing; double check the load/speed against OE and not just the size.
Walmart put the wrong load rated tires on GF's VW. Calls for 195/65 R15 91H and they installed 89H. Didn't notice until the Walmart online receipt says not the correct tire. So a safety and liability issue. I did the calculations and the tires are still within weight limits, but didn't take into account tire pressure. The tire sticker says 30 PSI the front and 41 PSI for the rear. Anyone had success with Walmart fixing this issue? Happened about 6 months ago and just noticed if the last two weeks.

Happy to share. A side note though that I paid for the tires and the service ahead of time online. I was offered this benefit online when purchasing, so I'm not sure it works in store but see no reason why it wouldn't. It does say though in the Walmart+ member section that you get free flat repair and free road hazard warranty when purchasing and installing at Walmart. This is a $10 value per tire so you get to pay $18/tire instead of $28/tire and get all of the benefits of the Value Package instead of the Basic Package.

Just installed a set of 4 of these Reliant tires of 225/50/R18 size at local walmart for $100 each + installation fee. Initial impression is that these drives better than the previous Michelin Primacy Tour tires on the same car. My 2 cents.
I hear these tires are leaving impressions everywhere...

I'm late to the party here, but I should point out something. These tires are now manufactured with soybean oil which according to Goodyear has better flexibility in lower temps and as a result better snow performance.

goodyear.com/en_US/learn/tire-basics/soybean-oil.html

There is a Redditor who had their Goodyear Reliant tire eaten by a rodent since it's... soy. That's how we found out Reliants are made of soy
